The Forgotten One

Tonight I actually had a lot of fun seeing all the old faces I once knew from college. It was my friends birthday, and almost anyone that mattered from that particular year showed up. So of course I was there with my crew of peeps and went around the room actually initiating conversation with people I barely cared to even be around when I was in school with them. Now that years have gone by and I've changed in my attitude, demeanor and look, so it seems like I was no longer the social cancer I once was and now I was the guy people actually liked being around. Now that my status as a good guy was actually lifted from the weirdo I was in school I felt the need to say hi to someone I actually was not only cool with in class but also had a mutual respect and at least in my part, an attraction for also. The truth actually was that I completely dug the chick. She was one of the only girls I knew in my whole 3 year acting experience that can actually act, plus she was an awesome artist too, and a hell of a cool person. Fuck I didn't even know she was gonna be there tonight cause if I did I would have tried to look even better then I did. Either way it would have all been in vain cause she didn't even remember who I was. She remembered everyone else except me. That completely made me feel like shit. I know I may look different from my days of shaving my head and looking like a serial killer but everyone else seemed to know me right off the bat. Shit, theres so many times that I go out and actually try to have people not recognise who I am, yet fail at the process and still have them question where do they know me from; yet me as the asshole I am I play the "No I don't know you, or no I never went there card" and now I finally have someone I want to recognise me and I'm completely forgotten.It Sucks! I remember when we were in class together we did a scene that even made our teacher fucking laugh his ass off (which was kinda hard). Hell she even told me the last day of classes how great she thought I was and that she actually wrote a lot awesome stuff about me in her journal for acting class, and yet somehow I'm the forgotten one. Like I said before, If I knew she was there I would have really went all out to impress her before hand so I'm kinda glad that I didn't waste my time, but damn do I feel like shit. Usually whenever people talk to me about my college days they usually talk to me about acting class and they kinda seem to always mention some of my great scenes I was in. It just sucks that one of the scenes I remember the most from my acting days is the scene I did with her, and I guess it doesn't really mean shit to her at all. SUCKS!

"The Internet Is Dead"

A few months ago Prince declared on a U.K. paper "the Mirror" that "the Internet is dead". The truth is his statement was ridiculous since the Internet is stronger then ever and unless something drastic were to happen to the earth in the future it will most likely never leave. Be that as it may I actually kinda agree with Prince, not completely, but in a way I sorta feel like the Internet is over with me. As world relies more on the Internet I find myself walking away from it. I don't like being on my computer anymore, it's only really used for my media storage, music player, and on occasion my porn hub(just being honest). I honestly find being on the Internet a bigger waste of time now then I ever did in the past. In away I almost feel left behind by it since almost none of the things that people find important, fun, or interesting with the Internet seems like they even relate to me at all. And the obscure sites I used to go to have almost nothing of interest for me either. My dependence on checking my sites everyday for updates on news has dwindled drastically, and I care even less about what some dumb asshole has to say about what happened today on their way to work when they update their facebook. And while I'm on the subject of Facebook I would just like to say that Facebook and Twitter have killed social networking sites for me completely. I always hated social networking sites from the beginning, but I always ended up on them for some strange reason, or should I really say someone in particular. But that kinda brings me to my point that the only fun or reason I have ever had to make profiles on these sites were to keep tabs on people that I was enamored with, but now the shitty security settings(or the great security settings)have taken that away from me making my profile utterly useless since I don't give a shit about anyone of my friends and celebrities mind numbing updates. I'm tired of those sites with their glorified chat room looks and their shit head members with their dipshit internet lingo. And god damn do I hate the look of Twitter! Shit I don't even have fun anymore updating my myspace page since I know no one will ever look at it again since Facebook and Twitter killed the site. The only fun I get out of myspace now is just listening to streaming albums. My only real joy is watching fucked up sites like Efuckt and The YNC(which in all actuality is not a joy at all since it usually just upsets me with the world as it only shows humanity in its lowest forms). In a way my feeling towards it are so mundane that the only exciting thing about going on is reading my mail which I only check on my phone to begin with.

The more I'm around a computer the less I see the need for it my life.And as my internet viewing is switching more towards my phone, I find less reason then ever to care about anything internet related. That's why, if you haven't noticed, I pretty much stopped updating this site on a constant basis. Now I'm not writing less because I have nothing to say or that I'm too busy, on the contrary I actually have A lot to say and I have nothing but time in my life to do it but I just don't feel inspired enough to write about it. Personally I don't know who even reads my shit anymore but I'm giving up on the whole "I Wanna Have Sex With Your Mouth " of the month thing cause I don't want to update shit every month and I don't think anyone cares who I wanna fuck, plus I could write about who I wanna fuck whenever I feel like it and don't need month to have as an excuse to say it. And I would also like to say I'm not abandoning the whole "People Are So Stupid They Need Me To Save The World" blogs yet, I'm going to write some more of them when I feel good and ready to. Soon I'm gonna go back to my old blogs and update some of them. And I think sometime soon I will finally post my "The Bottom Of Death Valley" blog that I promised I would in my "Concerts I've been to - Part 10" a couple of years back.

Besides those "BLoGs" I've mentioned I don't see myself going crazy this year writing for this page anymore. I'm gonna keep my focus on my "Concerts I've been to" blogs since that's why I really started this site to begin with, so I could basically keep a diary of my concert experiences. Maybe I'll write about other shit too, but for now The Internet Is DEAD!

I watched "The Tick" live action show recently and I got to agree with my boy on the show "Batmanuel" that "Captain Liberty" is fine as fuck! She has got to be one of the hottest super hero chicks I've seen on a tv show. Her hotness isn't just about her looks but her comedic ability as well. It's rare to see actress as hot as this chick actually get the whole comedy thing and for that she gets extra hot points.

Concerts I've Been To - Part 18

Devin Townsend - October 28, 2010 - Blender Theatre, NY

At the end of September I finally decided to listen to all my Devin Townsend albums that I had downloaded 2 years ago, and it just so happens to be the very same time that Devin decided he was gonna tour again after taking his 4 year hiatus from touring. It's funny how life comes together sometimes.

Ray West - This band sounded like something I wouldn't have minded too much in the late 90's when the nu-metal scene was at its peek, but now this music just sounded extremely dated. So it's safe to say I was pretty bored during this groups set but they were not horrible just boring and some what shitty. 4/10

TesseracT - First I just wanna say this band impressed me with their Math Metal meets progressive Metal core style. Now that I got that out of the way I would also like to say that the bands biggest weakness also happens to weirdly be their strongest asset which is their singer. The man has an amazing voice with incredible range but one of those ranges he hits is that annoying emo voice which he uses a lot in some songs. Plus a group full of long haired Metal heads with a emo, pretty boy front man just looks weird. The band first song was awesome and I almost was ready to buy their album till I heard more of the set which was alright but not over engaging. 7/10

Devin Townsend - Devin Townsend RULED! The man sounds incredible live and his band too. He also has some amusing little banter in between songs. The only complaints that I have from this show was some of the slow song choices at the end of the show which kinda made for anti climatic ending to such a fun concert. But besides that the man played some of my favorite songs "Addicted", "Kingdom" and "Supercrush" but missed songs like "Storm", "Hyperdrive", "Seventh Wave" and "Christeen" which I feel are essential Devin Townsend songs. But at the end of the day you can't complain about a great show. One of my favorite parts of the show is when Townsend was performing "Bend It Like Bender" he invited this kid with a hot dog costume onstage to air guitar with the band. 9/10

Rammstein - December 11, 2010 - Madison Sqaure Garden, NY

Rammstein are one of my favorite bands ever. I've been waiting to see them for 10 years already. I always heard how awesome their shows were and seen live footage of it before, but the only problem with going to see them was that they refused to tour the United States due to the limitations on their stage show. But out of no where God finally got Rammstein to come back to America after 9 long years of not touring the states. The show sold out in 30 Min's and you already know your nigga Steve copped himself some tickets. But after I got the tickets I started having doubts on how the show would be since they might not be allowed to due half the shit their live show was known for. So with doubts in my head I still went cause I knew at the end of the day a Rammstein show is always awesome no matter what. As soon as I got into Madison Sqaure Garden I could tell how big of a deal this show was people literally came from all over the globe to be there. One person in particular was a Russian soldier who actually left his base without telling anyone to come to this show (that's how important this show is).

Combichrist - I already had an album from this group so I was kinda interested to see what the live show would look like. I got to say Combichrist is an intense live band. The band had tons of energy and the drummers especially kicked all sorts of ass. The lighting for the band wasn't very well done in the beginning of the show since you could barely see shit since I guess it was meant for smaller club gigs rather then arenas but their effective strobe lights and tv monitors made up for it until they got some more lights on the group. My other complaint is they didn't exactly play their best material. Most of the songs sounded very mediocre compared to the material I heard from them before. Still good show , but I think it would have been a million times better seeing them in a club. 7.75/10

Rammstein - It's funny that before the show it really didn't hit me at all that I was finally seeing Rammstein. Hell it only really hit me once Combichrist was done and everyone in the crowd was chanting RAMMSTEIN and I started to feel the joint energy of all the Rammstein fans then I felt rush of blood go through my body and I got super excited like some tween at a Justin Beiber show. Before Rammstein went on the lights lowered I saw a amazing sight I will never forget, as I looking down at the crowd in the dark arena it looked like stars in the sky because almost everyone had their cell phones out. But still doubts were circling my brain, I didn't want to be let down. But once Rammstein came out braking their own little walls all doubts left and I began having a smile on my face that didn't leave even after the show was over. To all those including myself that worried about whether or not Rammstein would do their full show were revealed to see that yes they did bring everything and a bath tub (literally) to MSG that night.It was amazing to say the least. Their trademark fire show was all over their set and other surprises like dead babies hanging with lasers coming out of their eyes and giant penis with cum shooting out of it filled the show. But even without the theatrics Rammstein played a great show. They sounded great and some of the changes and extensions they put into the songs were awesome. The show was incredible from beginning to end, hell it's probably the best performance I've ever seen. My only complaints I can think of are that, first for a band that hasn't played America in 9 years and is doing only one show they should do more then a 2 hour concert, second I felt a little jipped that they didn't play some songs, which is kinda a unfair statement since if it was up to me to make a setlist for them of what I would like to hear live they would be there all night, but I at least felt they should have played "Amerika" for this special occasion. And last I was kinda pissed that people with shitty seats got free upgrades to the pit area. Honestly it was probably best that I had the seats I did because if I would had been in the pit I probably would have went crazy anyway. 10/10

After the show me and my friends all had a glow in are faces like we just had the best sex ever and we all rambled on how great the show was all night till the next day as we called each other about not being able to forget the experience. One of my friends said the the show was so great he doesn't even feel he needs to watch another show ever again cause it would never beat this anyway (I kinda agree). Truly once in a life time show and you losers who didn't get tickets could see it when it comes out on DVD.

Prince - December 17, 2010 - IZOD, NJ

When I woke up that day I got a concert alert in my email saying that some Prince tickets were just made available, so right away I got on my computer and bought tickets for me and my sister. The tickets were nose bleeds but IZOD isn't exactly the biggest arena so it wasn't a big deal. My sister and I got to the show late but it worked in our favor since we got free upgraded seats (Ahh sweet justice)right next to the stage. By the time we sat down the first act just finished so I have nothing to say about it. This was my first concert I've seen done in the round since the stage was right in the middle of the crowd in the form of the Prince symbol which was pimp as hell.

Prince - The purple one killed it! He might not be as energetic and animated as he once was, but the man can still go for 52 year old. Plus Prince can play the shit out of a guitar! And may I add the man had the most amazing shiny gold shirt I've ever seen in my life. One of the highlights of the show was when Shelia E (She's still fine) came out and did some songs which rocked. At the end, I don't really know if this was planned or not, but the lights went on and people kept doing the Prince chant for him to come back out while people started to leave show believing it was over yet the more people that began chanting slowly people started coming back to their seats and started chanting too till finally Prince came back out saying their gonna have to kick us out cause I'm not leaving, then he proceeded to rock with the house lights still on. Surprisingly that encore turned a already great show magic. The end blew me away. 9.75/10

After wards my sister told me it was her first show and I'm glad that we got to share this experience together cause it was an amazing show.

People Are So Stupid They Need Me To Save The World: Part 1

Over Population

This is the first topic I've decided to talk about because I feel it is the most important factor in saving our world today. The world right now is suffering, and by suffering I'm talking about pollution, threat of famine, depletion of natural resources, job and money deficits, and over all lack of space to live. The root of all these problems stem from over population and as years go by it will only get so much worse.

Pollution is a problem we have been facing for a long time and its been getting so much worse as time goes on. The more people that are born leads to more air pollution caused by more cars on the road. Litter, garbage, sewage and chemical pollution is also extremely dangerous to the health of our planet and as more people are born it's only gonna become more of an issue.

Famine is one of the least feared problems right now, but the threat is very real. The truth is that we kill animals for consumption right now in such a fast pace that we actually don't give enough time to replenish our animal supply. Eventually, if people keep breeding the way they do, we are gonna run out of animals or meat will be completely unaffordable for most of the people or only a select few countries and people are gonna be allowed to eat meat.

Depletion of natural resources is easily one of the most dangerous threats since it looks like its right around the corner. Our oil supply is shit right now, hell that's why we started wars with Iraq on 2 different occasions. The truth is the oil supply will run out sooner then later and the more we add people to this planet it will just make it go quicker. With more people puts more cars on the road which of course means more gas used, not to mention all the oil used just to make that car. Other natural resources are also in constant danger such as plants, minerals and drinking water that of course leads to other problems such as Deforestation and Erosion to name a few.

Job and money deficits are the main problem were currently facing right at this moment, and in my opinion the easiest to fix (don't ask I'll explain my solution another time). The cause of this problem is of course mainly horrible money management. But as we foolishly keep going along as a society instead of stopping to solve this problem we actually only help make things even more impossible to fix simply because the money is leaving quicker to the people then its actually coming back to the country which only further leaves the country in a huge deficit which destroys the economy. The economy suffers so bad from lack of funds going into the system that quickly jobs start to go under, and next all state funding go away too which screws everyone cause now all the money, medical, shelter and food that people in our great country depend on for survival is gone completely. Imagine 20 years from now how this problem will look if we keep going the way were going. The truth is with each new child born it only cost the country more money to help raise the child and eventually when it becomes an adult the country also has to support this adult till it dies which is in reality a no win situation to a huge problem, especially since people are living longer these days.

Limited land is also a big problem going on now cause as we expand we also destroy. The truth is that we actually have to expand just for all of us to live comfortably, but the destruction of more natural resources just so we can have more homes and business are actually hurting us in the present with natural resources and will only get worse as we multiply and as we keep expanding. Thats why are land limitation is actually one of the main problems we should be focused on fixing because it is essentially one of the easiest and one of the most important to fix.

Face it, the more people keep populating the earth with their unneeded offspring, the more we actually set ourselves up for disaster, and that's why I always advise people to never have children because its easily the most irresponsible thing you can do today not only for the child but the planet itself. Eventually are problems will only become are children's problems, only way bigger then ours. And when they all grow up and realize how are own selfish desires of populating an already overpopulated earth actually led to the worlds destruction, they will curse the day you ever gave birth to them anyway. So instead of breeding we should work as a society to actually help the people that are actually alive now like adopting children who don't have homes, building shelters for the homeless and actually take care of our money and job problems, and after that's done then we can talk about letting people have children.

If I Ruled The World

Right now if I ruled the world I actually would ban anyone from having a child unless they fit certain living qualifications and a parenting test with their chosen mate which would be nearly impossible to pass. The punishment for breaking the law would be to surrender your child for government enslavement, or death to the parents after birth. Yeah its a bit extreme, but I bet you it would work.

Concerts I've Been To - Part 17

Aventura - July 10, 2010 - IZOD Center, NJ

Aventura

Yeah I know what most of you are thinking, "Aventura man, really?", well for your information I happen to actually like Aventura, but honestly I would never pay to watch them. So now you may be asking how did I see them then, and I'm glad to tell you that my friend basically gave me a ticket since the person that was gonna go didn't show up. First off I would just like to say that out of all the shows I went to in my life this was definitely the one I least fit into. Everyone in their mother (literally) was decked out in their most glamorous club attire (Hispanics really take concerts seriously) while I was dressed in my shitty regular clothes like I do for every show, which got me more then a few stares (or maybe it was the fact the fact that I looked so bad ass as stared right back at everyone with that I don't give a shit look). It also doesn't help that most of the women were screaming like little girls at an NSYNC concert.

Aventura - Look I don't know much of Aventura's songs and I really don't listen to Spanish music much in general, but this band performed their ass off, especially the bassist and guitarist, those guys rocked big time. The whole group was quite good except for the other back up singer dude who seemed to do shit but dance and say "Aventura" every once in awhile in songs. Plus the dude was mad gay and it seemed like he was trying to hide it big time, obviously mission failed. On the other hand lead singer Romeo was really good and he really had all the ladies going crazy for him and he had all the men out for his blood as he hit on any and every chick he spotted and made fun of and invited fights with their male companions, which made the asshole in me immediately like him. Romeo also invited some males on stage to sing some songs which of course led to one sucking horribly and another shining like a star. In a funny note as Romeo was doing a rant on how he likes all types of women, especially the really fat one; A fat girl walked next to my area and told some chick he's gonna call me on stage, and to my surprise they actually did call her and after Romeo gave her a lap dance and was about to give her a peck this chick full on tried to make out with the dude and all I can think of was "You go Fatty, get yo man". And speaking of women, Aventura had this hot chick singing that I couldn't take my eyes off. Her sexy, perfectly tanned golden brown skin was just hypnotising I don't even give a shit about tans in the first place. Overall fun show but I would have enjoyed it more if I wasn't so sick since I wanted to leave for most of the last hour in this very long 3 1/2 hour show since my head started hurting. Even though it was good I don't ever see myself going back to the their show. 7.75/10

Romero Saying some real shit about relationships that I couldn't help but laugh at since my friend I was with is one of those suckers (mostly in Spanish but you'll get what he's talking about since also speaks in English). The funny thing is that he's saying that chicks always fuck over that back up singer dude and all I kept thinking about was that they probably left after they realised that he only liked to have sexy if was get fucked in the ass.

Rush - July 24, 2010 - Nikon Jones Beach Theater, NY

I always wanted to see Rush but for some reason this day I just wasn't in the mood to go anywhere, especially a concert. I ended up showing up almost an hour late from the start time cause I thought there was gonna be an opener, which there wasn't and I thought that show wouldn't start on time which it did.

Rush - Again, as I said before, I was late so as I got in they played two songs then took their first break after only an hour of playing, After a 15 minute break they came out and played their entire "Moving Pictures" album which was pretty awesome and after that they played a few more songs from various points of their career. The newer songs sounded boring and no one cared about them. The set was kinda lame as it was basically just a bunch of laundry machines and shit to show that it was a time machine and there was some lame theme that a bunch of chicks would walk by with Pitchers of beer(Get it Moving Pitchers), but I got to say the lighting rig was amazing. It looked like some crazy spider space ship. They also had amusing little videos they showed on the screen and one them happened to be with the dudes from "I Love You, Man" meeting the band. Overall good show but I was under impressed and I really didn't want to be there in the first place. And the ride home sucked since there was nothing but traffic everywhere so it ended up taking me 2 hours to get back home. 8/10

Another year and another Rock The Bells (It seems like this show replaced Ozzfest for me). This years line up was so amazing that moment I heard about it I already knew I was going, and the fact that each one would play their biggest album in its entirety was also a plus.

Slick Rick performing "The Great Adventures of Slick Rick" - We got to the show kinda late because of parking and taking the ferry over to Governors Island (Which felt like a longer ride then it should be) so we only got to see the last song in Slick Rick's set which was performed with no real passion. I'm not gonna rate his performance on one song, but it doesn't look like I missed much and its sad cause Slick Rick is one of the artist I really wanted to see.

Afterwards I remember going to the Paid Dues Stage but I don't remember who I saw so fuck um. I was feeling a bit hungry afterwards but I usually just wait it out cause I don't want to pay those crazy concert prices for food but this time I gave in so I got $7 Thai food which was well worth the price considering how good it was and how it filled me up and the fact that I've paid more in other places so it was actually a bargain. But then I paid $4 for a water which wasn't a good deal at all.

Rakim performing "Paid in Full" - Rakim was definitely the last artist I wanted to see cause 1. I already seen him before and 2. because he is a boring performer. So again Rakim proved why I didn't care to see him cause he again had no energy and he seemed to act like the audience should rap the songs for him, which I hate when artist do that. I left after a few songs to the other stage and when I finally came back to see Rakim I saw he changed his outfit and all of a sudden had some energy on stage and actually finished strong. 6.5/10

Jedi Mind Tricks - I watched Jedi Mind Tricks in between the Rakim set and they were pretty good. Nothing overly memorable, but a good group. 7.5/10

KRS-ONE performing "Criminal Minded" - I finally got a chance to see raps teacher KRS-One and it was every bit as good as expected. The man man flowed through a few songs from the criminal minnded album then switched over to other songs in his massive catalog and of course spit some knowledge in between, and he even gave a shout out to Chris Rock who was on the side of the stage. Supernatural came out during his set and did another amazing freestyle and at the end rapper Freddie Foxx came out and did a freestyle denouncing fake thugs. 8.5/10

Street Sweeper Social Club - I stepped over to the Paid Dues Stage just in time to be annoyed by Street Sweeper Social Club again. This time they played way worse then last time and I quickly left after they played "M.I.A. - Paper Planes" which sucked. 2/10

Afterwards I looked to get something to drink since I was super hot and thirsty so after walking around forever to see what was the best deal and what had the shortest line I ended up online this lemonade stand because I kept seeing people all over the place with there huge cup so I figured it was the best deal. The line took forever and when I finally did get to the front I asked about the huge cup which they told me was a free refill cup which was good, but then they told me it was $20 which was was not so good so I opted for $5 cup which I'm glad I did since the lemonade sucked ass.

Lauryn Hill - I got to be honest Lauryn Hill was the main reason I wanted to go to the show, and in my opinion she delivered. I admit her performance was chaotic with Ms. Hill's punk energy, rock like sound and and mic problems throughout the set but it worked for me big time, everything except the mic problems. Lauryn ran around the stage doing accelerated & reinterpreted versions of her classic songs from her solo album which seemed to do nothing for the crowd at first but slowly started to win them over until she did a few Fugees tunes which she did awesomely and won over the crowd completely. During her performance me and my boy couldn't help laughing at these 2 Asian guys with stupid faces doing some shitty hip hop dance moves infront of us. The only time the performance sucked is when she sung a song dedicated to her children and then she dragged them onstage which was unneccesary, but later on she dragged out big artist onstgae like Alica Keys, John Legend, Jay-Z, Mary J Blidge, Beyoncé Knowles and Swizz Beats which was cool. 8.75/10

Wiz Khalifa - I never heard of this kid before the show but I got to say it the kid was good. His songs mostly about pot and it was fun to hear but I decided to go back to the main stage cause I didn't want to be all the way in the back for "A Tribe Called Quest" but even trying to get to the Main stage early we still ended up in the back anyway. 8/10

A Tribe Called Quest performing "Midnight Marauders" - All I got to say is A Tribe Called Quest were amazing! Their performance was easily the best rap performance I've ever seen. Each song was awesome and the energy between the guys was electric, plus I dug the screen behind them displaying random graphics which seemed to give the performance a bit of a trippy feel. Later Busta Rhymes came out and did a couple songs with them and Swizz Beats even came out and did a song that just added to the greatness of it all. 10/10

Wu-Tang Clan performing "Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers)" - After Tribe we couldn't see Wu Tang even coming close to their magical performance but I was proud to say Wu came out swinging and did a great performance themselves.I don't have much to say about their performance since I reviewed 3 times before but it was just typical great Wu Tang. 9.5/10

After Wu Tang left it seemed a lot of people left too so we got in close. The wait for Snoop seemed to be like an hour or more and my body was killing me. Fans started getting pissed off and started to turn on the shitty dj from hot 97 who kept coming out trying to plug some cell phone service that people began turning on to, so then Ghostface came out to save the cellphone plug which people almost turned on him too.

Snoop Dogg performing "Doggystyle" - Finally cameout with most of tha Dogg Pound. To be honest even though I like Snoop the only selling point to seeing him live was that he was performing his "Doggystyle" record since besides a few songs, I haven't given too much of a shit of his other albums. Snoop's performance was fun as he played all the hits and it included funny blaxploitation segments on the screen. Lady of Rage, Kurupt and Warren G added to the show but noticabley missing from the whole thing was Nate Dogg who couldn't be there that night. The performance was good but it felt like it was running out of steam so we opted to leave early and I'm glad we did since Snoop performed that shitty "Drop It Like It's Hot" song after we left. 8.25/10

"Different Show"

Leaving the place sucked big time since all the boats kept leaving before we had a chance to catch them so we literally walked around the whole fucking island till we finally left. Once we were finally on the road I had a craving for a 40oz and the movie "Belly" and thats what I got that night.

X Japan - October 10, 2010 - Roseland Ballroom, NY

I must admit first I'm not a huge fan of X Japan, I was going to the show more out of curiosity then actual need. I got to the show a bit late cause I didn't think they would have an opener, but of course they did, so I missed them but I heard some of Vampires Everywhere through the walls and it just sounded like a shitty Metalcore group anyway so fuck um.

X Japan - I've got to say this was the most bizarre concert I have ever been to. First it was 90% Asian audience and the rest filled out with nerds and Spanish chicks who were trying to look Asian. Second the show was a mixed bag of good and bad performance wise. Now don't get me wrong when they rocked they did infact rock, but for the most part it seemed like a show filled with filler instead of actual songs e.g. Long ass solo's, crowd sing alongs, talking, chants, singing Happy Birthday for the lead singer and then they had the nerve to play one song in the speakers at the end as they took pictures infront of the crowd. And third, the crowd was a little strange and I'm not just talking about the weird outfits some of them wore for theatrics but the fact that some of the goth people were really looking like they didn't want to be there (I know Goth people are supposed to look like that, but it really looked like they didn't want to be there), people were crying all over the place, fans were singing along to everything and started clap alongs and the whole crowd started this thing with their hands crossed in a "X" while jumping in the air and some gay little spanish guy behind me kept jumping around roaring like a bear the whole time while some chick kept telling him to shut up. It was all quite surreal in the funniest of ways. But like I said before when X rocked they rocked. First off drummer and band leader Yoshiki cameout looking like a god as he poised over his drum set as wind hit his hair and clothes while the fans shanted his name which he did quite a few times throughout the show. The second song had some bad ass lasers going on and a couple of songs they had this bad ass fog that came pumping out right underneath the group. They had a violin, drum and piano solo, they were all good but over long. The worst part of the show to me was when overly emotional Yoshiki talked to the crowd with his little girl voice about how he made the group blah, blah, blah, how it's always been a dream for them to come to America, especialy NY Blah Blah Blah and then started screaming at the top of his lungs "We Are" which the crowd would say "X" for like 5 mins. Over all they played about 10 songs in 2 hours and I'm including their 15 minute break before their encore. Weird and waste of time does not begin to explain what I saw at that show. I'm done with X Japan live. 7.5/10

I admit I have a bit of a thing for wrestling chicks, and my latest craze is this mostly unknown, yet super tough and really good wrestler Lufisto whose been tearing up the international wrestling scene mostly fighting men. That's fucking impressive, especially for a chick whose 5ft 3inchs and weighs 140 pounds. To add to the impressiveness she also wrestles most in hardcore matches. After her first album she joined a variety of different groups in varies genres of music, the most notable of which was "The Sugarcubes". Around 1992 she left The Sugarcubes and officially went solo. In her solo career musical style is eclectic mix of different genres of music from Pop, Dance, Trance, Techno, A cappella, Alternative, Trip Hop, House, Jazz, Big Band, Industrial, Classical, Electronica and overall Ambient and avant-garde musically. Björk has acquired numerous accolades for music that includes a number of nominations and awards for her albums and all her albums have been put on album of the year lists and some of her albums have even been included on lists for greatest albums of the 90's lists on various publications. And her albums "Debut", "Vespertine" and "Medulla" each have been listed on the "1001 Albums You Must Hear Before You Die". Björk is also considered one of the greatest music video artist of all time.

It's impossible for me to list my favorite album from Björk so I'm just gonna give a few thoughts on each of her albums.

Debut, 1993

Even though this album has some her weaker songs she has ever recorded, it also features some her strongest too. Songs like "Venus As A Boy", "One Day", "Aeroplane", "Come To Me", and "The Anchor Song" are all some of my favorite tracks that she has ever recorded, and this album is probably the one I play the most out of all her albums. This album holds a huge place in my heart because when I first fell in love with Björk was when I was 8 years old in Virginia on a trip with my family and her video "Human Behavior" came on in the t.v. and I was instantly a fan for life at that very moment. Plus I hooked up with some 12 year old chick at that trip that looked like a hotter version of Björk so I always consider that one of my proudest hookups of my life.

Post, 1995

"Post" might just be her best album as its easily her most accessible and consistent record from beginning to end, and it also features her biggest hits of her career "Army of Me", "Hyperballad", "It's Oh So Quiet", "Isobel" and "I Miss You". "Army of Me" and "Enjoy" are both some of her most bad ass songs she ever recorded and "Hyperballad", "Isobel" and "Possibly Maybe" are some her most beautifully made songs ever. Theres no bad songs on this album and easily her most popular record for many good reasons. Plus, it also features her best videos of her career. "Great Album".

Homogenic, 1997

"Homogenic" is often, just like "Post", considered her best album and for good reasons as well. This may actually be her best produced record ever and feature her best and most musically interesting songs of her career. "Hunter" and "Pluto" are beat centric masterpieces and "Jóga", "Unravel", "Bachelorette" and "Immature" strikingly brilliant songs. "Great Album"

Vespertine, 2001

"Vespertine" is easily her most beautiful record. It's extremely passionate and personal. The songs build on slower beats and more string and choir arrangements. "Hidden Place" and "Cocoon" are brilliant songs "Pagan Poetry" is easily one of her top 10 songs. This is actually my first album I've ever owned from her so this actually holds a very special place in my heart. I frequently put this on when I'm in a chill mood.

Medúlla, 2005

"Medúlla" is probably her most interesting album she has ever made since it's mostly all vocally composed from beats to the music on the album. Plus it receives huge respect points for having Rahzel(The Roots) and Mike Patton (Faith No More) lend their vocal talents to this album. The sad thing about this record is even though its an awesome record it actually has the worst songs of her career on it too, largely because their just weird vocal throwaways that should have never been put on record to begin with. But songs like "Pleasure Is All Mine", "Where Is the Line" and "Oceania" are her some of her most brillaintly produced and best songs ever."Where Is the Line" is easily Björk's most evil sounding song ever, "Vökuró" is easily her saddest, darkest and possibly the most striking song she has ever made and "Triumph Of A Heart" is one of her silliest and most fun songs of her career.

Volta, 2007

"Volta" is easily Björk's worst album to date. Mind you, I'm not saying it's bad, I'm just saying the worst out of her discography. "Earth Intruders" and "Innocence" are fun little numbers but songs "Wanderlust" and "The Dull Flame of Desire" are the true highlights of this album.

My 100th "bLoG" Post

When I first made this page on January 7, 2009 I never thought I would actually ever make it to 100 posts since I've never been the kinda guy to consistently write. At first I only really expected to keep a chronicle of all my concerts I've been to just so I could make sure I remembered all the shows I've been to, and I wanted to vent out some anger every once in awhile but I've actually done a little more then that. I have to say It's been a real struggle on my part to keep this page going since I'm pretty busy and/or too lazy to give a shit about updating it. Plus its kinda hard to think of new shit to talk about at times, but to be kinda honest my problem is more or less based on what not to talk about. Since I'm kinda a honest person I tend to just blurt out real shit that's going on in my life that I know I probably shouldn't say for a number of reasons. Personally its kind of freeing just getting some of this shit off my chest but at the same time I've seen the repercussions from some of my words in a positive and negative ways. No matter how good or bad I disguised some of the people I've talked about a lot of the individuals have come and talked to me about some of the post about them or the situation and places we were at. Ex girlfriends, friends, acquaintances and strangers have all talked to me about my post and its been fun to discuss it with them. But no matter how much I actually opened up I still have filtered my opinions, my sex life, my family and my personal problems and I don't know whether it's a good idea to change that at all since I deserve the right for some privacy and so do the people in my life, but I'll try to at least give a little more info. I have tried very hard to make this site semi fun and readable even if I have almost nothing interesting to say, not overly descriptive, and overall horrible writer since I have bad grammar, can't spell and don't know shit about punctuation and sentence structuring(hey, at least I admit it). I'm always trying to get better in all aspects in my life and my writing is one of those things. Like I said to people before, "If you keep reading my BloG, I'll keep writing in it".

So now I would just like to thank all you assholes who actually waste your time reading this "blOg" even if its just to stalk me, use what I say against me, criticize me and my shitty writing or just because you have nothing better to do. I feel like you guys keep me motivated in finding new ways to piss you and everyone else off. To everyone else who reads this cause they actually like my page I just wanna say "your obviously morons cause this site sucks balls! Its horribly written and only casually funny, so isn't there something else on the whole world wide web that you might actually have a better time reading then this shit". It may have took me awhile from the first time I heard this but I really love this song. Even more embarrassing I get a little sentimental hearing it. It's weird but at the right time this song can even produce a tear out of this stone of a man. The reason for this is the person who introduced me to this song got into a lot of trouble years later and every time I hear this song and Aerosmith's "Crazy" it just reminds me of that person. This is my fucking JAM!!! WHAT, this shit is hot! When I hear this song I just can't help but sing this shit out loud. The video always makes me laugh. 1. the cheesy guy with the hair staring at the camera, 2. the dudes from "House Party" singing and 3. Lisa Lisa in her toto doing a shitty two step.

Macy Gray - I Try

I've tried hiding my love for this song for many years, but now I'm fucking admitting it, I love this song DAMMIT! There I said it, this is a great song so Fuck You! I cant help it, Macy "I need a crack pipe" Gray makes me tear a bit every time I hear this song.

No Mercy - Where Do You Go?

My deepest and darkest secret is that I'm really a product of early 90's dance music, so when I hear No Mercy doing "Where Do You Go?" you know my ass is getting down. This song is crack nigga. I love this shitty video with these preppy Latin pretty boys trying to get down. It's just the cheesiest of the cheese.

Theatre of Tragedy - Image

To be honest Theatre of Tragedy whole electronic phase is embarrassment to not only their career but also their fans. This song is no real winner, and I guess if didn't have the hots for singer Liv Kristine so much I probably wouldn't give two shits about this song. But since I do have a boner for Liv and she sings in the chorus "I'm gonna get you up, I'm gonna get on top" I think I have no choice but to love this song. It also helps that the video is mad sexy.

Muse - March 5, 2010 - Madison Square Garden, NY

I kinda found out about this concert way late so the tickets that were left were all behind the stage and I wasn't about to spend money just look at peoples backs. So the day of the show I hustled my ass on Craigslist and got me a ticket. As I was ready to get my ass out of the house I noticed a funny thing, my tire was flat. Great, now I was fucked. I quickly called one of my friends who wanted to go to the show and asked if I could make sure she got a good ticket for less then $100 would she drive us to the show, which she agreed and I ended up getting her better ticket then my nose bleeds for $85 which was only $10 more then I paid. She actually ended up in the best place of the house as she was in the general admission area. I was happy for her, but a little bit jealous all at the same time, but nothing was gonna ruin this show for me, not even the weirdness of sitting next to the same people that sold me the ticket and them knowing how my friend got a better deal then me.

Silversun Pickups - While I always liked Silversun Pickups I never felt like I needed or wanted see them live as I didn't feel it was gonna be anything special. I was a bit wrong as I felt they rocked, maybe a little more than on record. The guys sounded very tight and they played with a good energy. The lead singers voice sounded great, which usually doesn't happen with guys with his similar vocal sound. Awesome performance all around, I just wish they would have just put non of their slower song in since they took away from the energy of their performance. 8/10

Muse - You know when Matt Pinfield comes out to tell you that your about to watch one of the greatest live bands ever that you can be sure that even if you hate the group it will surely be a 5 star show, and that my friends is what it was. Muse put on one of the greatest performances I've ever seen. The show was an absolute spectacle that I would have never Imagined it being. First off the band started the show on these large video projector platforms that rotated throughout the show so even the people behind the stage got a show. I gotta say The l laser show was probably the biggest and best laser show I've ever seen a band do in my life. At one point of the show giant eyeballs fell from the sky full of red confetti right into the crowd. And putting all theatrics aside, man did the band rock. It was epicness from start to finish. Singer and guitarist Matt Bellamy is one of the most talented musicians I've ever seen live and he was also very energetic, entertaining front man. The only bad thing that I can say about their performance was fact that they played that shitty "Super Massive Black Hole" song which should have been titled "Super Massive Shit Hole" (I know, not very creative. FUCK YOU), plus they did not play either of my two favorites "Apocalypse Please" and "Butterflies and Hurricanes". Either way Amazing is all I can say. 10/10

After the show my friend had to tell me about how much better of a time she had then I did as she told me that she was hanging out with the manager of the Muse and his girlfriend and they were buying her drinks all night and the girl gave my friend her card and told her to call her sometime to go to some shows. Yeah I wish it was me but I'm glad she had a great night.

Faith No More - July 5,2010 - Williamsburg Waterfront, NY

First off I just want to say FUCK BROOKLYN!!! Now that I got that out of the way let me tell you a little story about how New Yorkers get fucked by MTA. OK, I've been waiting for this concert for years, so it's safe to say as soon as tickets went on sale I made sure my ass got them, and just as much as I rushed to get the tickets I made damn sure that I was not gonna be way in the back of the show. This is Faith No More for Christ's sakes, I needed to be close as possible to the stage. So that day I woke up at a respectable 11:30 and got my ass on the road around 1:30 and hit up IHOP and got out of there by 3 so I could get to the concert before 4. Instead of driving to Brooklyn my friends and I decided that the safest bet was to take the A train to the L cause it would most likely be faster and I wouldn't have to worry about the whole parking situation, which non of us knew anything about. Well that turned out to be a bad idea. Mind you everything was great with the A train until we got off to go to L train, now that's when the shit hit the fan. The L train of course didn't work and since Brooklyn has a pretty shitty system of trains non of the other trains went anywhere near where we needed to be, so of course the great state of New York rectified the situation by giving us a nice shuttle bus that insured us safe passage to the show. Actually that's a bunch of bullshit since the shuttle only ended up taking us to the end of Manhattan (which they actually told us originally that they were gonna take us to Brooklyn) where we then took an M train that the MTA told us to take to the station where the M and L intersected and pickup the L going back. Sounded easy enough no matter how inconvenient and time consuming it might have been, but again there was a problem. Now they shut down the L going back and now let the train go the way we should have been going in the first place when we were on the fucking A. But with any bad transportation problem New York is quick to rectify the situation. So again they gave us another shuttle bus, and this time the bus driver put us all at ease by telling us he really didn't know where the hell he was going, all he knew was the last stop. Aaahh, only in NY. At that point I felt it was stupid even caring about how far I was from the stage as I figured that I was really lucky if I even got the show. Of course he dropped us off at where he told us was the last stop at the beginning of the bus ride, but yet as we looked back at the bus as it left us in god knows where Brooklyn, we saw everyone else still on the bus driving away from us like it wasn't the last stop. GREAT!!! OK, so now I was officially done with public transportation. I wanted a fucking cab. And of course the taxi drivers didn't even know how to get there. So I guess I was back to public transportation. This time we actually found a bus stop with our destination listed on a sign and were reassured we were going the right place as we saw a train full of rockers all miserable together. So we got there at around 5:45 and waited on a pretty epic line. Of course another friend of mine drove there within 30 mins to the place and found parking within 5 mins of getting there (My lifes a living joke). But the shocking moment was when we actually got in the place the stage wasn't even packed yet. We were actually pretty close to the stage. And better yet we got to preserve are virginal pale skin from the intense sun and heat all day. So it was kinda all for the best. But still FUCK BROOKLYN and FUCK THE MTA!!!!

Neil Hamburger - Neil Hamburger basically MC'd the show as he went on before Both groups. As comedians go Neil Hamburger was as average as they get. His shtick did little for me as he just asked why jokes, made fun of the crowd and and hocked up Flem through most of his performance. But I must admit I found him funnier then most of the comedians I see shitting all over the stage on Comedy centrals stand up shows. Plus I like when anyone pisses off the crowd, and he did it with flying colors. 5/10

James Chance and the Contortionists - First off I just want to say I don't get jazz that much. There's very few times when I get's down with the Jazz and it's almost always at a intimate seated club, bar and/or lounge. So it's safe to say an outdoor venue wasn't really the best place to listen to the legendary James Chance and the Contortionists. Honestly I never heard of James Chance(even though he looked familiar) before the show so I can't really even say the fact that I didn't dig the music that much had anything to really even do with the venue but it definitly didn't help. James Chance and the Contortionists play some weird form of Funkish, Jazz that sounded extremely improvised and a little bit noise rockish like early Sonic Youth if they replaced their guitars with saxophones. I didn't get it but I wasn't completely hating it either. James Chance was definitely fun to watch dance around on stage and a couple of songs rocked a bit. 5/10

I just have to mention for a show this important Faith No More put no effort into getting decent openers for the show. But with a dick like Mike Patton fronting I expected no less.

Faith No More - Before the show I happened to read the set list for the other 2 shows they did that week and they were both pretty much identical to the same set list they had at the Download festival last year that I watched on stream, so when we got slightly mixed up set list I was more then thrilled at the change. This show was amazing from front to back. The band were tight as ever and played with more intensity then most teen bands even though their a bunch of middle aged men. Mike was clearly on top of his game that night as he sounded great throughout and put a lot of energy in his performance, as he jumped around on and off stage. They played quite a few songs from their early pre Patton albums which thrilled me since I actually like those albums even though Chuck Mosley isn't half the singer Patton is (Faith No More really needs to rerecord those albums since Mike makes those songs sound a million times better). And Patton singing Michael Jackson's "Ben" cemented the greatness of the performance. Hip hop human beat box legend Rahzel did a couple of songs but it really added nothing to the performance. At the end Neil Hamburger came back out and had a little funny moment where he made the crowd actually chant "Smash Mouth" 175 times (Actually 10 times which is still more attention that band has gotten in the last decade) for an encore. Truly a memorable show that I will never forget. The only thing bad I can say about the show besides the heat, lackluster openers and subway problems was the ridicules time the show ended. The show ended at 10PM sharp like we were fucking children that needed to go to bed. Fuck That, any show that's worth it's salt ends at least at 11:30. Mind you it wasn't Faith No More's fault as I checked out tickets to Primus show with Gogol Bordello and it list that the show ends at 10 (I guess I'm not going anymore). Plus the people kept pissing me off throughout the show. There was just so many losers that kept pushing through me and my friends and some assholes that decided that the right side of the crowd was a good place to start a pit. Come'on, proper show edict is that pits are always in the middle so stop being a bunch of pussies and go in the middle instead of throwing yourself into a bunch of people that just want to watch the show. I got so pissed at it I just yelled at some of the douche bags that the real pit was in the middle of the crowd and most of them quickly stopped after that. Besides that it was a perfect show. 10/10

That is the million dollar question right? I just watched "Ghost World" for the millionth time after gracing the lovely Thora Birch as my "I Wanna Have Sex With Your Mouth" of May(God I love her). After watching it I kinda felt like my life was pretty much going through the same shit in a way as Thora Birch's character. But I guess every teen to 20 somethings go through the same shit of not really being ready to become an adult like the distancing between old friends, the blossoming of new friendships, the struggle of finding a proper mate in this abysmal single scene we call life, shit jobs, moving, going to school and over all just trying to find yourself.

Its funny how just 2 years ago I went from hitting rock bottom to finally having a fire lit under my ass about making a man out of myself. It seemed like it finally was going to happen, I was actually all geared towards manhood since I actually was pursuing a respectable career as a Yonkers Fire Fighter and I gave up most of childish ways like partying, sleeping late, eating bad food, hanging out with friends all the time, being lazy and especially following any of my foolish dreams. But with one career ending fall down a flight of stairs while training my illusion of being a respectable man went straight out the window. The realisation of my failure may have not hit me right away but a few months afterwards all that maturity I gained was lost as I regressed to the same attitude and mentality as I had when I was 16. Hell I even looked and dressed like I used to. With the Old school look and attitude also followed my dreams and aspirations. All of a sudden I didn't and still don't give a shit about the Fire Department job. Now all I wanna do is follow my dreams to the fullest. But it's not as simple as it sounds as it takes a lot of time, effort, struggle, sacrifice and money. To be honest I was never any good with any of those things in my life. So now I'm back in school to try to become a court reporter just like my father so I can make a lot of money just so I don't have to lose time, put tons of effort, struggle and sacrifice my whole life away. Who knows how that will turn out, but I'm hopeful as I feel I made the right choice.

My friendship circuit has been pretty much the same for years and it hasn't changed much and I don't mind that at all. As some friends distance, some others become closer, and even some old friends have shown up again in my life. Not to sound like a pussy but no matter how many friends I have sometimes I still feel very alone. It's weird cause I got at least one person I can always call at any given time yet I always feel like theres no one there. I actually don't think it has anything to do with friends but more about not having a girlfriend. Relationships have always alluded me in my life as none of my relationships ever lasted more then 3 months and it usually followed the order of being really happy to completely questioning everything to finally being completely miserable. Now I've successfully been avoiding that scenario for more then 3 years by having loose relationships with women yet now I feel completely empty. I would really like one solid thing, but settling is not an option. I've looked all over for the right one, hell I've even joined one of those dating site things called "Okcupid" which has only reinforced my online dating curse of talking to chicks and watch it go absolutely no where as they realize I can't hold any kind of online conversation(God damn the idea of talking to people through typing). But in my real life I have few options, but they all seem wrong. Even an ex of mine came back to me recently and I've been playing with the notion of cementing something with her but after she dropped a bombshell on me about almost having my kid twice, I don't know if I should even be amusing the idea of being with her anymore. I 'am many things but one of them that I'm definitely not is a father. I have no business raising a kid as I'm broke, don't have a job, no intention of being financially secure, kinda selfish, not good with taking care of things(especially children) and at the end of the day I don't really like kids. I don't see how any of that shit makes me father material, plus I'm pretty sure I have a demon seed. Either way, I'm pretty certain that just like me following my fathers foot steps in the job arena that I'm also doomed just like him to wander alone without a partner in my life. And it sucks even more'so when I keep seeing girls that look like girls I've been with before and it only makes me wish I could just be with them again, but I guess that's just me being emotional and a bit idealistic then actually realistic. Who knows?

Just like every year it looks like I'm faced with the idea of moving again and it sounds like it's gonna happen. Got a few friends and my sister that I have been talking with about moving. But first if I do move I need a shit job that I can deal with for a couple years until I become a court reporter or something awesome. I guess I'm just gonna have to get my lazy ass up and get my self something so I can just get the fuck out of here already.

In my eyes the one of the only thing that sucks about getting older is the idea that I actually have to go through all this shit just to become an adult, cause in my eyes I'm still a teenager. So even if I do accomplish all this shit to become an adult I guess I'll still never be one, so anyone expecting me to grow up I'm sorry to disappoint you. Fuck society! Fuck The System! It's funny how ever time I see the uber hot Scarlet Johansson I immediately start thinking about Thora Birch. Yeah I know a lot of people would probably call me crazy for what I just said but if that makes me crazy then I might as well be retarded for the next thing I'm about to say, and that is that I actually think Thora Birch is hotter. Well maybe that's going a little too far, but I at least feel like I personally dig her way more. Now the only reason I'm even comparing them both is obvious to anyone cool since they both were in one of the best films ever made "Ghost World". I know it may not be Thora Birch's real personality in the movie but I kinda really fell for her in that movie. In a way I kinda was already into her from "American Beauty" since she had kind of a similar attitude, plus the seen where she takes off her top and shows off that amazing rack of hers is forever etched into my mind. "Insanity" Epic Fail

After a month of hardcore working out and nearly losing 20lbs it seemed like I was on my to completing the hardest exercise program I've ever done, but then my father got back home. His return home destroyed my diet since he left nothing but bad food and juice every where. It was hard to try to ignore the temptations since my diet succeeded on me carefully buying what I needed for the diet that wouldn't tempt me to constantly eat yet were enjoyable so that I wouldn't feel the need to get off the diet. But it would be unfair to blame it all on the food since it seemed that ever since my father came back all of a sudden it seemed like me and him had to do a million things everyday too. But again I guess I can't blame it all on him since there's more things that contributed to me failing the program like my job, school, friends, parties, bars, vacation and also I just hated the second months plan of exercises that the dvd's had since they seemed to be extremely difficult to do and longer then the first months workouts. Everything just kinda made this way too difficult to achieve but I'm not throwing in the towel just yet. I do plan on going back on the plan sometime this month to lose another 15 to 20lbs but I'm gonna do it at my own pace. Fuck 60 days!!!

Caligula Is My Hero

I saw this show last night called "Caligula Maximus" and I got to say I loved it! Mind you I barely remember any story as I was transfixed with everything going on around the stage more then what the actors were saying but the shit hooked me. The show had musical numbers, trapeze acts, stilt walkers, live band, fighting, pole dancing, wrestling match between Caligula and Jesus and lots of half naked people and even some nudity. This show was pure sex, as I could not keep myself focused on anything else but the HOTTIES onstage. Shit I was just waiting for someone to invite me to an orgy onstage cause you know I would have been in that shit having a pants off, dance off in some ass! This was actually the second most fun show I've ever seen (The first being Evil Dead: The Musical). I had an awesome time and I actually want to see it again so if anyone has $30 that's burning a hole in their pocket let's go see "Caligula Maximus". Oh yeah, Caligula is now my new role model.

3 Weeks Of "INSANITY"

So I've made it. Since starting the "Beach Body: Insanity Workout" I never thought I would actually make it past the first week, now here I am 3 weeks in and ready for the next 5 weeks. It's been a hard journey and I still can't get through any exercise the whole way through without taking breaks, but I got say I love it. Now I can safely say that this is the hardest exercise plan I have ever done in my life. But the pain was worth it since I look better now at 200lbs then I ever looked before at this weight or 190lbs, plus my stamina and flexibility is better and even my Fit Test results improved from my first test that this program makes you do your first day. The funny thing is that I have actually hit my goal weight for this program already. So far since I started I have steadily lost 5lbs each week, so I've lost the 15lbs that I was aiming for to weigh 200lbs. If I keep going at this rate of 5lbs per week I would easily hit my main overall weight of 175lbs. But now since my body has actually leaned out a lot I'm actually questioning the idea of me getting down to 175 again. I think that the best idea might be to just get down to 185 and then decide from there. Let's see what I decide. The only thing I know for sure is that I'm going to make it to 60day mark on this program.

Day 1 Of "Insanity"

Lately I've gained a bit of weight, 15 pounds to be exact. I weigh 215 pounds right now which is only 5 pounds away my heaviest I ever weighed in my life when I was 16 years old. Even though I hate looking at how much weight I've gained I do get hit on more now then I have in years which I find kinda weird but this isn't about the chicks, this about me and how I feel about my own body image. So after a couple of unsuccessful diets I have decided to begin this exercise program called "Beach Body Insanity Workout". Basically Insanity is a workout program that come with ten different exercise dvd's that are less then a hour each and you have to do it for 6 days a week for 60 days. It also comes with a food plan and recipes.

Before I started this I would often hear about how hard this program was and I can safely say after the first day of doing this I can fully agree with how hard people say this is. I don't know if this is the toughest workout I have ever done but it's definitely up there. I will say that my stamina is terrible now compared to the way it used to be but I still for the most part stayed with the exercise. I actually had more problems with pain in my feet then my stamina. My feet were hurting so bad halfway thru the workout that I just kept having to take breaks throughout the fucking thing. Now this pain I'm sure isn't gonna happen to everyone because I think I just have fucked up feet. This sucks cause I really want t make it thru the 60 days but my foot pain makes it feel like its gonna be impossible, But I just feel like I got to do it. I want to make it. I want to succeed at this and I'm gonna try. I'm gonna start cutting down on my bad eating and drinking habits. I'm gonna take this seriously, and hopefully I will make it to the 60 day mark and have that sexy body that I used to have or better. My main goal is to weigh 175 lbs again but my goal for the 60 days is to reach 200 lbs. I'm sure my haters are loving hearing how far I've fallen but pretty soon I hope to have the last laugh. I'll keep you guys update on how I'm doing.

The Gathering

The Gathering is a Dutch band formed in 1989. Originally their sound was Doom Metal then it transformed to a Atmospheric Goth Metal sound, and then slowly changed to a more ambient Trip Rock and/or Alternative Rock sound with hints of Prog Rock too. The group has had many different vocalist. Originally the fist two albums featured two different sets of Male singers with female back up singers. Their third album "Mandylion" was the first album where they did not use male vocals and they replaced their former female singers with Anneke van Giersbergen which is now their most famous singer and she fronted the band until 2007 and now Silje Wergelandis the new lead singer. The Gathering is known to be one of the most influential bands in all of Goth Metal since most female fronted groups were inspired by this group and their album "Mandylion" is considered a groundbreaking achievement in the genre and the standard which most female metal groups are compared by.

This album is simply amazing. This is of course the debut album for singer Anneke van Giersbergen and she sounds incredible as she makes you feel every emotion in each song. Her vocals are powerful, confident and yet sadly desperate and softly angelic. The music on this album, while simple and slightly repetitive do build a great atmosphere. The album builds a certain feeling when hearing it. The mood that it brings is kinda sad and dark yet gentle, sweet and beautiful all at the same time. The lyrics for the most album are very dark as they deal with Desperation, love loss, and sadness. If heard on the wrong day this album can destroy you, but on the right day it can just as much make you notice the beauty of life in a strange way.

Highlights

"Eléanor" is the first of the really dark songs of this album and it also one of the most rocking songs The Gathering has ever made. The Atmosphere and instrumentals are some of the tightest they have ever performed. "In Motion #1" is easily on of the groups most spell binding tracks as it hooks you in right from the beginning melody. The song is beautiful yet extremely sad song. "Leaves" is another amazing song with great atmosphere and instrumentals and Anneke vocals really shine on this song. The songs lyrics are especially strong as they deal with A girl looking for just a illusion of love from one night stand and then afterwards feeling empty for not having any real love with the person yet kinda wanting it in a strange way. "In Motion #2" is definitely one of the saddest songs I have ever heard. This is the perfect continuation for In Motion #1. The lyrics are about A woman whose love has left her, walked away without feeling. Even though she tries not to, she can't help but see he doesn't care anymore, and she wishes he did. Her life is entirely devoted to him, and her spirit dies when he walks away. The lyrics in the song get me every time when she says:

i see you walk away
falling down i cry and scream your name
and again the rain falls down
together with me

The song overall I think might just be the best of the album as music, lyrics and the vocals are all the best of the album and might just be their best song ever.

Throw Away Tracks

The only real throw away on this album is the song "Mandylion" as it's a instrumental track that breaks the flow of the album and is generally unimpressive, boring and feels too long.

Look I'm not gonna even mention what songs I like just know that I gets down with the "ACE OF THE BASE". Ever since 94 anytime I hear any hit from their album "The Sign" I will gets down. "Don't Turn Around" to me is their best fucking song. I even love the cheesy rap part at the end.

Sugarcubes - "Hit" & "Walkabout"

Sugarcubes is one of those love or hate groups, but since I already love Bjork I kinda accepted them in their imperfect way. Sure the guys vocalist in group sucks and they sound cheesy and they sometimes make annoying music in a The B52s kind of way but their is something completely awesome about their music too and its more then just Bjork's amazing vocals. "Hit" & Walkabout is easily their best songs. Every time I hear these songs I just feel like the world is magical or something gay like that. But I will admit their videos suck.

Merril Bainbridge - Mouth

Wow I'm really embarrassed right now to say how much I love this song. This is actually one of my guiltiest pleasures. I think this song is awesome. Back in 95 I used to just listen to Z100 for hours just to hear this song. God, admitted too much right now.

Army of Lovers - Crucified

Army Of Lovers is easily the gayest group I've ever seen or heard in my life. The first time I seen this group is actually on a episode of Beavis & Butthead. All I kept saying to myself when watching this video is that "this has got to be a fucking joke" and "whose that hot chick with the nice tits". But something kinda weird happened afterwards, I couldn't get this cheesy shit and those great boobs out of my head. Years later I found the video again and I wore the shit out of it and I don't even know why. The songs ridiculous and the guys are over the top gay but that's kinda why it's so fun, plus did I mention the hot chick with the huge rack. Shit makes me laugh every time, especially the raining cats and dogs part. Brilliant video.

Letters To Cleo - Here and Now

This is actually the first song I ever heard on Z100 and it fucking hooked me on listening to that station but after the first time hearing it I never heard it again on the radio. I love this song and I actually got this album just because of this song.

Babylon Zoo - Spaceman

This song is kinda goth trash but I love it. I even love The Kovenant's badly sung version of this. I do wanna punch the lead singer in the face though. He's just so annoying to look at and his dancing and clothes suck.

Dimmu Borgir

Dimmu Borgir is a Black Metal band from Oslo, Norway, formed in 1993. Dimmu borgir means "dark cities" or "dark castles/fortresses" in Icelandic and Old Norse. The name is derived from a volcanic formation in Iceland, Dimmuborgir. Originally when the band first started their sound was considered Melodic Black Metal because of the heavy emphasis of Melodic, atmospheric keyboard, slow build ups and Folk Metal sound that was sung entirely in Norwegian until their album "Enthrone Darkness Triumphant" which they not only started to sing in English but they also changed their sound to more aggressive Symphonic Metal sound that they still use to this day, and many have now started to label their music Extreme Metal. Most of their lyrics deal with Satanism. Their albums are the highest selling some Black Metal's highest selling, second only to Cradle Of Filth. Many of their albums are considered the best albums ever made in not only Black Metal but Metal in general.

It's impossible for me to really to pick my favorite album but since they have 2 different sound periods my first from their melodic period would be "For All Tid" which many would highly Disagree with as "Stormblåst" is considered by many as their best album and one of the best Metal Albums ever. Yes I will admit Stormblåst is better but there's something really special about "For All Tid" that gets me more then Stormblåst. For the other time period I'll choose the highly underrated "Spiritual Black Dimensions". And yes, I know most people would choose "Puritanical Euphoric Misanthropia" and your right again it's the best release from this time period(And it's by far the best drumming I've ever heard on a album) but this is my choice and I'm sticking to it.

For all tid which translated means "Forever", or, literally, "For All Time" and in my eyes it really describes the feel of the record since it has an almost ancient yet timeless feel. Simply because of the timeless feel if I had a choice to listen to one last record while watching the world end it would be this one. The sound quality of this record is pretty bad but for some reason it actually adds to the experience. The thing I love about this record is how beautiful yet dark the whole record is. The contrast between Elegant atmospheric keyboards and melodic, almost folkish playing of the band with occasional heavy moments, all with the harsh vocals on top just make for an extremely unique record. Many might find the vocals to be the worst element of the album as they are very harsh and the songs are sung completely in Norwegian At least in my case I think it adds a lot to the sound since it adds to the mysteriousness of the music, and while the vocals are a bit harsh when you get used to it you learn to appreciate it, but on the other hand the music itself is so great that if you can block out the vocals you can just enjoy the music. I also got to say I love the overly simple yet melodic drum playing on this album. The album is just so haunting yet rocking all at the same time, at least in my eyes.

Highlights

The first song "Det nye riket" sets a very dark and foreboding tone right away with the crazy keyboard intro to the slow dark Norwegian spoken word at the end this song is creepy. "For all tid" is just a epic masterpiece of a song. The intro melody is so beautiful yet sad all at the same time. The bands instrumental section playing throughout this song is amazing as it tugs at your emotions with every instrument. "Hunnerkongens sorgsvarte ferd over steppene" is another great track that starts off heavy but then drops down the speed and beautifully slides into the next song and masterpiece of this record "Raabjørn speiler draugheimens skodde". This song has one of the most amazing and unique sounding intros I've ever heard. The outro to this song is spellbinding. "Den Glemte Sannhets Hersker" is another haunting song with a great dark intro then by the end completely has a very sad yet majestic feel. "Inn I Evighetens Mørke (Part. I)" is another song just like all the others I mentioned here that gives me chills every time I hear it. It is easily one of my favorite instrumental tracks of all time. It's just so sad and beautiful. "Inn i evighetens mørke (Part 2)" is easily the most rocking song on this album.

Throw Away Tracks

"Over bleknede blåner til dommedag" is one song that I used to skip over like crazy. I just couldn't get into the clean vocalist on this song because of how strange and funny he sounds but the song has grown on me more and more over the years.

This is the second Black Metal album I bought right after I got into Cradle Of Filth's "Midian" and since Cradle Of Filth did a good job breaking me into the Black Metal sound I got into this album very quickly. Unlike "Midian" there was nothing commercial about this record as the picture on the album could clearly show you. And unlike 'For all tid" the songs here are incredibly Heavy and symphonic. Most people often see this album as Dimmu just trying too hard but honestly I see a band trying to make one of the best Dark and Heavy records ever made and completely succeeding at it in the process. Newcomer Mustis are all over the place on this record adding a lot of classy yet dark sounding piano throughout. Another new clean vocalist and future Bass player ICS Vortex vocals add a whole new atmosphere to the album every time he's used. This is by far his best performance with this group as every time he's used it just makes the songs sound epic as hell. A new guitar player Astennu who also got fired right after this album might have just been the best guitarist they have ever had and his other band inspired the sound of this record. This is easily lead singer Shargarth best he's ever done. And drummer Tjodalv delivers his last and his best drum performance ever with the group. This is just a monster of an album that will never be duplicated.

Highlights

"Reptile" comes out swinging right away. The dark keyboards cascading throughout the song give it a feel of a biblical war between good and evil. The vocals from ICS Vortex heighten the tension building throughout the song as they play like a wicked Greek chorus all while lead vocalist Shagrath delivers one of his most intense vocal performances ever. "Behind The Curtains Of Night - Phantasmagoria" is easily one of the heaviest songs Dimmu has ever made. This song always makes me feel like tearing shit up. "Dreamside Dominions" is a masterpiece of a song. One of the few songs off their later period records that sounds kinda beautiful in it's own dark way. The vocals from Shargrath on this song is the best he has ever done. The subtle inclusion of ICS Vortex voice in this song add so much to the greatness of this song and the guitar solo at the end just finishes it off beautifully. "The Insight and the Catharsis" is another Beautiful masterpiece of a track as the song starts off aggressive and dark and then mid section just changes pace brings on a beautiful melody that ICS Vortex then puts his angelic voice over and brings the song to a climatic end. This is the best song of the album in my opinion. "Arcane Lifeforce Mysteria" is another great song with an amazing intro and haunting sound.

Bands I Would Like To See Live: S - Y

Samael - Industrial Black Metal group Samael is a group I always intend to see every time they tour the states but for some reason something always mysteriously pops up that makes it impossible to see them. Next time I got to go.

Stabbing Westward - I don't know how much I really need to see this group but I know if they were to be playing somewhere I would see them.

Stone Tempe Pilots - They are one of the best rock groups of 90's and also heard their an awesome band live. From the clips I've seen Scott Weiland kinda seems annoying live, but I guess I gotta see them live to better judge.

The Strokes - I love their album "Is This It?" and something about the awkward performance really makes me want to see them.

Sopor Aeternus & The Ensemble of Shadows - Transwoman, Darkwave legend Sopor Aeternus has never performed live and has been making music since 1989. To me this might just be the holy grail of shows to go to simply because of the spectacle that would ensue. All weirdo's that would show up to this show would be worth the price of admission in itself, but I'm sure Sopor Aeternus AKA Anna-Varney Cantodea would not be out done by anyone.

Tenacious D - Comedy Metal group Tenacious D would be a fun ass group to see live.

Tomahawk - And yet again another Mike Patton group. This was probably his best side project. They seem like they would be awesome live and of course they would cause it's Mike Patton.

Tori Amos - Tori Amos RULES and she's pretty damn sexy too!!!

Tristania - Symphonic Goth Metal legends Tristania are suffering from the same fate as Nightwish of their original singer leaving the group, so instead of the group calling it quits they instead got a new singer, just like Nightwish that can't sing as good as the original singer. Hear for yourself:

Theirs a clear winner in the voice side of this contest but it's a bit of a toss up to me in the looks department. Original singer Vibeke Stene on top and new singer Mariangela Demurtas on the bottom:

No matter whose fronting the group at the time I would still love to them.

White Zombie - Everyone in this group needs to just forget how much they hate Rob Zombie and just get back together. If they can't stop hating him at least for the money, come'on.

Within Temptation - As it's very obvious from the groups I've listed I happen to be a sucker for female fronted bands, especially of the Goth/Symph Metal variety and Within Temptation is no exception. Just all the rest the lead singer is a hottie:

Yeah Yeah Yeahs - I remember when my sisters girlfriend first lent me their album "Fever To Tell" in 03 and how right after I heard it the first time I immediately played the above again and again. I loved it. I felt, while the album was not perfect, it was one of the most fun, punk like energetic albums to come out in the Rock world in awhile. Plus I gotta say I find Karen O strangely alluring a tall gawky way:

Facebook vs Myspace And Why You Suck Either Way

Like many people now I have made various profiles in many of Social Networking sites. All of them are usually the same sites with difference being the names, features and people on them and what the site might focus on e.g., race, homosexuals, acting, music, etc and also features that are more focused on like updates, profiles, resumes, music, etc. But I have decided that for this site battle I'm only gonna focus on Facebook and Myspace since their the biggest in the game (Yeah Twitter is just an update site so it's a bunch of crap in my book plus it's links with each site anyway so FUCK TWITTER!!) and they are the most compared sites. Before most people often when comparing the two sites would mention how boring Facebook is because of the lack of features, basic; non customizable profile, network profile stalking restrictions and the lack of people that were on it. But now it seems the pendulum has swung to Facebook side as people often criticise Myspace for being slow, ghetto, spam filled and how mention no one goes on anymore.

First off I just want to say I use both sites. I have been on Myspace a bit longer since I joined in 2005 due to my best friend at the time pressuring me into joining. And I joined Facebook in 2007 because some chick I was seeing at the time kept telling me how awesome it was. In both instances I didn't really use either site for about a year after I opened them. For a certain time period I used Myspace quite a bit to update my profile layouts, pictures and "BLoOOg" and doing some light comment exchanging and profile stalking but after a few years and a few persona changes later I haven't really given a shit about the site. On Facebook side I never really used the shit before last year and I can't really say I did anymore then some minor picture updates, a few quizzes, a couple game apps, some comment exchanging and some profile stalking.

The first thing I would like to say is this isn't me picking sides between either site, its just me showing the truth about both of them. Now that I got that out the way I'm gonna breakdown what exactly is BETTER and/or WORSE about each site.

People

Facebook: People on Facebook generally have this elitist attitude by acting like other social networking sites are beneath them. They especially look down at people who even mention that they use Myspace and kinda look at them like their low class or something. OK I get it, Myspace has a lot of ghetto people. And I agree there's a lot of people on Myspace that need to put on some damn clothes, but honestly you were probably looking for the shit in the first place so don't complain. And I definitely agree that there's alot of fake friends on Myspace but how can you honestly admit that you actually talk to everyone on your over 300 people friends list. Yeah I didn't think so. And yes Facebook does look more professional then Myspace but the moment you started crying like a bitch on your updates all your professionalism went out the fucking window you whiny BITCH!!!

Myspace: Yes all the stuff people say about the people on Myspace are true. They are ghetto(But it's still no Migente or Tagged). They do post too many half naked pics of themselves. They do add a lot of friends for no reason(Seriously if you don't know someone, don't care to know someone and don't have anything to advertise then stop adding people you don't know). And their profiles are annoying and slow because all the unnecessary bullshit on them. But now that we got that out the way let me just say this, the same people who complain about that shit used to be the very same people doing this shit that are now on Facebook bitching and moaning on the updates board and acting like their cool for doing it.

Most Annoying Features

Facebook: Right off the bat I gotta say I hate updates. Mind you I don't feel it's a bad feature it's just how completely annoying people get using this feature.

These are few of my update pet peeves:

1. Do you really have to update after every little thing in your pitiful life. it's really not that interesting. Most of the time I don't care or want to know where your going, who you talked to, how bad your day was, how you feel, any religious quotes of the day, what your listening to or watching and especially don't give a shit when your going to sleep (Do you need my permission to sleep or something).

2. Ok when the fuck did ESPN hire you for live play by play sports commentary on facebook. No they didn't so you might as well shut the fuck up and watch the game.

3. Do you really feel it's a good idea to be talking shit about your friends or lover on your updates? Do you not realise how fast word gets around especially when their already on your friends list. And if it's a cry for attention from these people then your even more worthless.

4. Do you really have to mention how much your life sucks all the time. Yes I get it life sucks and you obviously suck too.

5. Witty updater's piss me off to no end. This usually supposed to be seen as a witty, funny self observation that would be more appropriately put on your Headline section of your profile instead.

Here's some examples of what I'm talking about:

1. James is Bad To The Bone
2. Michelle is A little bit country and all Rock N' Roll
3. Tom is Turning Japanese

These updates are supposed to be cute and funny but they often come out as lame and annoying. Just STOP!!!!

6. And I especially Hate obscure updates. These kinda updates are made just so people can ask what the fuck are you talking about or people have to figure it out or its mentioned to someone specifically. Just say what mean or don't say anything at all.

And what the fuck are POKES! This is the lamest thing ever.

And I don't hate the LIKES button I just really don't like the fact that they don't have a HATES button. So to fix this mistake I usually end up putting LIKES on the most miserable post I find.

For Example:
1. My dog died. Steven LIKES this
2. I got kicked out of school. Steven LIKES this
3. Nobody loves me. Steven LIKES this
4. My boyfriend dumped me. Steven LIKES this
5. A bum grabbed my ass. Steven LIKES this
6. I have AIDS and I'm going to die tomorrow. Steven LIKES THIS

And the FANS option is another one that everyone ruined. Come'on do really have to be FAN of every fucking thing. This is getting so ridiculous that I really wouldn't be surprised if I logged in one day just to find one of my friends became a fan of "Taking a shit at work".

Myspace: Updates are annoying here too but since people put way less emphasis on updating on Myspace its actually less annoying. Plus more often then not it's for professional purposes.

Bulletins are in some ways More annoying then updates. People often flood this section with a bunch of nonsense that no one needs to know or is interested in so people have learned to just ignore this section completely which is kinda a bad thing because sometimes somebody actually makes a huge announcement but it generally goes unnoticed because of other dumb assholes.

Here's some examples of shitty bulletins:

1. LOOK, no one gives a shit about your new pics, blog or profile updates because if they did they would already be on the mother fucker which would make your pussy cry for attention useless.

2. If you need to ask people to leave comments then you obviously don't deserve any.

3. If you want people to take your party or event invite seriously posting a bulletin will most likely not get your point across cause everyone ignores the shit. So stop being lazy and actually invite people individually or send massive messages to your friends.

4. Stop fucking flooding the Bulletins with quizzes, horoscopes and especially chain letters. Chain letters are the dumbest fucking shit ever and you deserve to be beaten to death for annoying people with this stupid shit. By the way this is the main reason people don't pay attention to bulletins.

5. The bulletin board does not care about you crying, so STOP! Write a blog or something just like me.

6. Bulletins are not updates so you can stop updating me on every moment of your life because no one cares and no one is paying attention to you. I got a story to follow this actually:

There's this girl who once was trying to get with me who I'll lovingly call "Bulletin Girl". Bulletin Girl would be leaving updates on every little moment of her life. This chick never did less then 3 bulletins a day. To me it just seemed so bizarre and annoying. I really felt like this chick was nuts or something and if she wasn't she definitely needed more attention then I could or ever wanted to give her. So I just avoided the chick for awhile so I wouldn't be another crazy bulletin in her life and as soon as she stopped contacting me I just deleted her.

Home Page

Both: Both sites have a very similar setup as both show Headers on top to easily go to different sections and they both have bars on the bottom of their screens for chat options. And each one displays notifications.

Facebook: The home page to Facebook is definitely focused on updates Ala Twitter. The updates are even sectioned off between news feeds and live feeds. The rest of the features except request section are in my eyes made more difficult to tell whats new because I never really notice when I get mail or when it's someones birthday or an event is going on because it's given such little focus that if your not looking for it you would probably not see it. On the bottom they have a little bar that makes it easy to go on your apps, chat and even a notification section that informs you on things going on in your apps and updates you on your new friends and photo comments. Facebook also has a counter on the left side that lets you specify what you want to see updates wise by category.

Myspace: The home page on Myspace is actually very well rounded as it's own space for every feature including Apps, Bulletins and Calender. It even has it's own section called "Alerts" which shows you if you have any new comments, friend requests, app updates, events, birthdays and tagged photos. Shit you can even change the theme on the home page and they even have profile view counter with the date next to it. Just like facebook it also has a bar on the bottom of the screen but it's only used for chat. The only thing which some people might complain about is that the update section which they call "Stream" which is not as in your face as the updates section as Facebook.

Winner: Myspace is the clear winner in this department. Myspace is very simple to navigate and has very neat template plus the addition of changing the themes makes it the that much better. I feel Facebook design is a little more confusing and annoying. The updates are way too much for my liking and the split between news feed and the live feed is just annoying and very unnecessary division overall since facebook's news feed just seems to be their way of choosing updates from your friends that they feel you should pay attention to which more often then not, actually doesn't represent who you really want o pay attention to. And sometimes when you log in you don't realise that your on the news feed and end up missing new updates because of it. I also think the design is boring, ugly and a little cluttered.

Profile

Both: This is where people usually notice the biggest difference between the sites and usually end up being the dividing factor between who likes what site more. The only similar things about the profiles on both of them are where the profile pictures are placed (Which you can change on Myspace), they each have their own form of comments section, friends section, easy update module and in their own ways info section, apps, easy section bookmarks and links.

Facebook: Facebook's main focus in this section is their wall which is pretty much a comments and update section mixed together. Everything on the profile is easily findable and has it's own easy to navigate sections. And you can also change info and upload new profile pick on the fly without ever leaving the page. The only thing that's you can complain about is the again the design is boring and non changeable and the ads on the side are a little annoying at times.

Myspace: This is clearly Myspaces biggest draw as you can actually create your page (for better or worse) in almost anyway you want with as much shit on it as you want(Again, for better or worse). You can add music that can play as soon as people go on your page, a view counter, videos and can display pics and graphics. The ads are always displayed on top of the page and are rarely distracting. The only thing that Facebook has over it is the simple changing of info and instant profile change within the page.

Winner: I say Myspace, but in their own way they both have their advantages. In my eyes I prefer Myspace because honestly I love the fact that I can make a profile in anyway I want to. It's almost like a really easy and free way to make your own web page. But on the other end of the spectrum going to peoples sites can often be annoying because of all the bullshit they put on it and at times due to peoples choice of site design are extremely difficult to navigate. On facebook side I actually really like the setup. The wall is conveniently placed on top and everything is really easy to navigate. And the option to easily change info and profile pics right from the page makes it a huge plus. But at the end of the day I just feel that you really can't top something that you can literally do whatever you want to do with it and even though some peoples sites can get annoying, at least they can always go back to the default settings instead of being stuck with a boring design. But this is clearly a matter of preference of simplicity and annoyance between people.

Friend Search

Both: You can search for people that you may know through name, where they live, schools and business.

Facebook: This can be one of those things that are either really easy or extreme pain in the ass due to networks and privacy restrictions. Very limited with options on finding people.

Myspace: Tons of search options from age to sex to martial status, location and lots more.

Winner: Myspace is the clear winner cause they make it so easy to search for your friends in multiple ways but at the other end privacy is of little concern to the search engine.

Privacy

Both: Both sites have a variety of settings that you can use to not be found or keep somethings private to certain people.

Facebook: If you wanna be invisible on Facebook you definitely can since there's so many ways to turn off people from finding you to who can view your page and post to whether or not people who are not your friends can even view your profile photo let alone whether they can find you even if they have your email or any other info. And network restrictions also play a role in making it harder to view peoples profiles. Truly impressive.

Myspace: Your profile photo is constantly on display and theirs no way to make yourself invisible from people unless you block them individually. And info is also showed alongside your profile pic of when you were on last and where you live. So basically there's always a way to find you.

Winner: Facebook is easily the winner in this department cause clearly Myspace don't give a fuck about you. But due to the great privacy settings on Facebook I don't enjoy my experience as much because it takes away from my favorite social networking activity. In my eyes these sites are only as good as the people you stalk and in my case most of the people I stalk are not my friends so you can see as why this would put a damper on my Facebook experience. Plus the network restrictions are annoying and pointless in my eyes and make finding people even harder for no real reason (Are you really telling people that they most likely don't have friends in different areas).

Applications

Winner: Obviously the winner is Facebook because unlike Myspace, Facebook needs apps. Most of the apps found are usually to make up for features that Facebook can't do. Facebook: From my knowledge Facebook has no extras to speak of besides their lame gift giving feature which besides MP3's involve giving worthless pics to people for a price. Sounds like fun to me.

Myspace: What extras don't they have. Besides the endless amounts of music you can listen to, especially ever since they put complete album catalogues from a lot of artist you can also watch videos, play actual games instead of the lame app games, sing Karaoke (Yeah that's right Myspace has Karaoke), and Lot's more.

Judging from all the shit I just broke down, and Again this isn't me saying that I use either site more it's just me simply breaking the truth about each one, and clearly from my research Myspace is the better site when it comes to the layout and features. Now I'm not saying that you can't like Facebook, its really not like that and I clearly understand why you would like Facebook over Myspace and how you might find it easier and a better social interacting experience since they do focus more of their attention on these things. But to act like your better from being on either site is ridiculous. No matter whether your on these sites or any other stupid social networking site, if you put any form of importance on what goes on in these bullshit sites you have already proven how lame you actually are. Your dependence on an Internet site to rule your life is stupid. It's pointless living life for a status update and picture whoring just for comments. Most of the time the very same pictures, updates and comments you put up so stupidly will just be ignored, made fun of or used against you in the future. Now this isn't me trying to stop people from doing what they love to do. Hell if you want to update, put pics up and send comments it alright, it's just the amounts of bullshit you put up is not necessary. And not every pic ever taken in your life needs to be put up because most of the pics you put up are a waste of time, suck and usually end up getting someone in trouble. All I'm trying to say is next time before you say or do anything just think for a second is this really necessary? Does anyone really care and do I really need this kind of attention put on me? Do I really need to do this every day and post something every few hours? And most importantly, Will this be used against me later in a negative way? Remember this, no matter how stupid the Internet is it can and will ruin lives and the way you present yourself will make you a target so have some respect for yourself. And overall get a fucking life. Stop living on the internet, for the internet. It's not the real world and at the end of the day it really doesn't matter.

Pearl Jam - Pearl Jam has been on my "wishlist" (Yeah cheap pun) forever. One of the best rock bands ever and one of my favorites since I was 12, I should have seen them years ago.

Peeping Tom - Yet another Mike Patton fronted group that I need to see. Of course like everything Patton fronted this looks like it would be an awesome live show.

Pink Floyd - One of my top 10 favorite bands of all time. These old guys need to do one last concert together before they all die(Live 8 doesn't count in my book).

Primus - I always kinda wanted to see this band live but I would prefer to see them open for someone then actually headline because lord knows whether they would even be that fun live.

Puya - Puerto Rican Metalers Puya are one of the most unique groups ever in the genre with their Thrash mixed with Salsa style. They need to take some time off from their other shitty groups and do it one more time big in America.

Red Hot Chili Peppers - Supposedly one of the best live bands (probably more'so earlier in their career then now). I always wanted to see them live since I was a kid. I got to see it for myself already.

Rockbitch - British, mostly female, Celtic punk/metal/goth band, best known for performing nude and incorporating sexual acts and Pagan rituals into their performances. Does anyone actually see this group for the music. I need to see them live.

The Rolling Stones - Often when I speak to older rockers they usually say how awesome The Stones are live, and in a little way I've actually seen them live on HBO one time and I gotta say the old guys are right, they rock hard.

Danzig - December 26, 2009 - Starland Ballroom, NJ

Originally I was not going to go to this show, Oh I had it on my mind but I just didn't feel like wasting money at this moment in my life, but after hearing Michael Graves was gonna do a mini reunion of his era of The Misfits(Without Jerry Only of course) I knew I had to go.

Seventh Void - I got to the show kinda late as it was close to 9 and the doors opened at 7 so I thought I missed this group but lucky for me(or Unlucky) they were still on when I got there. The only reason I wanted to catch this band was that 2 members of this group are from the band Type O Negative which happen to be one of my favorite groups. Honestly these guys should have just stuck to Type O since the music is very similar but only more boring and repetitive. Plus they played for what it felt like eternity. I don't know what time it they started but it couldn't have been that long before I got there cause then I really feel bad for the people that got there before me. 5/10

Gorgeous Frankenstein - Next up was Doyle and Dr. Chud's new band Gorgeous Frankenstein including Doyle's wife and ex Professional Wrestler and Stripper Gorgeous George doing what she does best, Stripping and looking hot:

The group sounded a lot like The Misfits without as good of singing and a little heavier. The set was good and above all energetic. My only complaints is that the singers should have kept the Frankenstein mask on that he had at the beginning of the performance cause it ruled and that they need a better singer to really make these songs sound better. 7.75/10

The Misfits - After Gorgeous Frankenstein was done the lead lead singer of that band left the stage and after a quick 5 min break chants of Michael Graves started and he quickly came out to start his 4 song performance with The Misfits. It was awesome to see them live together and play some tunes from his era, but overall it felt like a wasted opportunity as it was too short. Other negatives was that Michael Graves decided not to wear any makeup which felt weird especially since everyone else was, and his dancing sucked. But besides that I loved hearing the songs live and I craved more. 8.25/10

Danzig - Now it was time for the man himself Danzig. Last time I saw him it was nothing too great but this time he outdid himself. He rocked and was full of energy. At 54 years old this man was sounding and moving with more intensity then guys more then half his age. The set list started out very strong as he kept playing everything from his first four albums, but later on when he started playing songs from his newer albums the crowds energy lessened but still Danzig rocked on and kept the show rocking throughout. After he left for the fake encore thing that bands do the crowd at first gave a very strong Danzig chant that later turned to "WE WANT DANZIG, WE WANT DOYLE" chant to later just omitting Danzig from the chant and just chanting Doyle the rest of this 15min break until Danzig roadie came out and did it again. Yes that's right he started chanting Danzig on the mike to get the crowd cheering for him(Danzig seriously stop doing that shit it's embarrassing and just makes you look really fucking lame). After the fake chant Danzig came back out with of course Doyle and wiped out a couple Misfits songs of their own to every ones delight and ended the show there. In my eyes this was another missed opportunity since they could have done more songs from The Misfits and they could have also made history in two ways by having Danzig sing with Michael Graves and play with Graves era of The Misfits but I guess there's always a next time or we should be glad we got this much. 8.75/10

Gogol Bordello - December 29, 2009 - Webster Hall, NY

Ever since one of my ex friend/fling that you might remember from earlier blogs "COOL" got me into Gogol Bordello with their EP "East Infection" which also had a video clip of them playing live, I have wanted to see them live. They not only sounded fun but the show looked like a really awesome party in another country. The sheer energy and fun of the music and performance made me want to go badly. Every time I tried to get tickets to their show they sold out instantly and this one was no different. Performing 3 nights at Webster Hall the first show sold out right away and the others sold out shortly afterwards which caused a problem with me cause I didn't expect them to sell out all 3 shows, so now I had to go to Craigslist and get tickets which was a pain in the ass cause most of the people I talked to were trying to get way more money then what it cost for the ticket originally and the others who had more then 2 tickets would only sell their tickets if was all together so that screwed me over for awhile until the last show someone messaged me that they had 2 tickets and just wanted $65 for the pair(which was actually below face value) so I ran to Manhattan and gave the guy $70 just for making my day.

It was bad start getting there since I had very little sleep that day so I was miserablly tired, my friend was sick, it was freezing out and we were scared of getting stabbed by Gypsies with curved knives while they danced and laughed at us dying so this was already recipe for disaster. I gotta to say there was a lot of different ethnic groups at this show.

Dillinger Escape Plan -Mind you they never mentioned who was opening for Gogol Bordello so I was suprised to notice as soon we got into the place that there was a band playing music that was actually very familiar. I kept saying to myself and then to my friend I think this is Dillinger Escape Plan and after a few songs they assured me I was right by saying their name. This was easily the best I've ever seen them as they were energetic as hell as band members jumped on everything and played their assess off. They even taunted the audience saying things like "You probably saying to your self what is this noise and you probably can't wait for us to get off stage so you can watch Gogol Bordello, Well just to let you know your idols have better taste then you do cause they like our music". Just to prove their statement Eugene Hutz joined them onstage to do an awkwardly clumsy cover of Iggy Pop's Search And Destroy which everyone seemed lost on(I can't believe there's no video of this performance) which I loved watching. Fun performance over all. 7/10

Gogol Bordello - After Dillinger were done annoying the crowd Gogol came out tore the house down. This had to be one of the top 5 best bands I've ever seen. It was easily as fun as everyone said it was. From the music to the performance to the crowd(besides this one guy in front of us who was annoying the shit out of everyone around us till he and his girlfriend thankfully left in the middle of the show) was awesome. The energy of the this show was rivaled by no other show I've ever seen. People were dancing and jumping everywhere, it was so much fun. And lead singer Eugen Hutz is just entertaining guy. He just seems like the type of guy you wanna hangout with and go to parties with just to have fun. Plus he even cares about the safety of his fans as he gave a little speech on crowd surfing safety:

The only negative thing I can say is that I was so tired from waking up so early that day and my friend was sick that we couldn't get into it as much as we wanted to, but after the show we promised each other we would see them again with more friends and go crazy next time. 10/10

M.I.A. - First off I just wanna say that her album "Kala" might be the most overrated albums of the last few years and M.I.A. just might be an overrated artist in general but I still respect the shit out of her. Her music, while at times not the best, does have complete originality which I'm all for. Plus her style is impeccable. There's very few women that can pull off the baby belly with this much style:

And out of the whole Grammy performance with heavyweight rap all stars next to her like Jay Z, Kanye West, T.I.(sucks) and Lil Wayne(Waste of sperm)the one who stood out the most on the performance was M.I.A., Now that might be because she was 9 months pregnant jumping around the stage looking like she was gonna squeeze the kid out at any time but that's the moment I decided that I needed to see her live.

Madonna - My sister would probably be amazed to see me admit to wanting to go to a Madonna concert but honestly I would be so down for it. First off I love the album "Bedtime Stories", (Which by the way Bjork wrote the song "Bedtime Stories" on that album) and her last few records have been pretty good, plus her great singles that she has come out with over the years should warrant enough interest alone for me to go. But the main thing is of course the performance which people have always raved about. Yeah I wanna go. Plus I would still do Madonna. YEAH!!!

Malice Mizer - One of Japan's weirdest looking and sounding band and also happen to be one of the most famous(And this was also Gackt original band before he left to start his solo album). The group hasn't been together since 2001 and is most likely not getting back together anytime soon which is a shame cause the stage show looks like a full all out spectacle, and everyone that knows me knows that I like spectacles. If they ever do get back together I'm so there. Take a look at these clips and see the madness for yourself:

The Misfits - I would love to see punk legends The Misfits live. But as much as I would like to see the original line up I do have to admit I would prefer to see them with Michale Graves (I know sacrilegious isn't it).

MR Bungle - Another band fronted by Mike Patton(yet this was his first). This band is insane and it looks like the show would be a lot of fun.

New Order - I would like to see New Order, especially since I've already been to a Depeche Mode show. I just feel it would be right to see them now.

Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds - Nick Cave RULES!!! The man is just bizarre. His show looks so fun, weird, yet laid back all at the same time. I gotta go.

Nightwish - Opera Metal mega stars Nightwish would be awesome to see live. every time they came to New York with their original singer "Tarja Turunen" I avoided seeing them because I didn't want to pay $50 to see them but now I'm kicking my self in the ass cause new singer "Anette Olzon" is not only a lesser singer but also not as hot either. Either way I would like to see them with either one.

Norah Jones - First off Norah Jones is BEAUTIFUL!!! She is one women that I would allow to bare my children.
I love Norah Jones: Now with that said I would also like to say that I enjoy her music. When I'm feeling like a adult contemporary mode I put on a little Norah Jones to satisfy my aging ass. I would love to see her at a little coffee house somewhere (What am I saying. Damn I'm getting old).

Oomph! - German metal band Oomph! were the original band to use the Neue Deutsche Härte sound which "Rammstein" admitting copied from them and made better. While not as good as Rammstein they are a very good band in their own right and they seem like they would be awesome live. Since they formed in 1989 they have never played in the states but hopefully that will change soon.

Opera IX - Opera IX were on of the best black metal groups when they still had lead "Female" singer "Cadaveria" in their group, but now since they got a "male" singer all the greatness of the groups unique witchcraft sound kinda went too. Now they sound more like a regular Black Metal group with no real originality. Plus Cadaveria vocals always happened to be one of my favorite extreme vocalist because her sound was so intense and scary(unlike many of the male singers who tried to hard) and yet she could also switch to softer vocals too. Plus she's not hard on the eyes either:
They need Cadaveria and then they need to tour the states.

Outkast - One of the greatest and most unique rap groups of all time Outkast need to get another tour going on so I could do what I've should of done years ago and finally see this incredible group live.

KMFDM - September 25, 2009 - The Gramercy Theatre, NY

This ticket was actually bought by accident. I was on Livenation.com looking at their $5 ticket offers and I opened up KMFDM page just out of curiosity where they were performing and I opened up a few other artist pages. So I was checking out some of the bands pages I sorta rushed to buy tickets for one band and when it was all done I started reading my receipt and realised that I just bought tickets to this concert. At first I was kinda annoyed with myself but after really thinking about the price and the history the group has and how much I liked the material I actually listened from them throughout my life I figured it was a great buy, plus I always wanted to have an excuse to go to the Gramercy Theatre since I've never been there.

Angelspit - Angelspit really didn't impress me that much. They kind have A-typical Industrial sound. Their a two member group, one being male and the other female. The male singer looked lame. He seemed like he was some loser kid from the suburbs who decided one day that he was pissed at society and now he was gonna change his image to get chicks and show people that he means business by dressing like a goth-industrial kid. plus he was wearing some fake metal Mohawk thing on top of his head which I got admit was pretty cool. Here's a pic:And he was carrying around some joystick the whole time acting like it was an instrument which I don't get what that was all about but I guess it's used for some sound bullshit. The chick of course was ultra hot(I say of course because if your a chick you can't be in a industrial band if your not hot cause its a sin). HOTTIE:She basically just danced most of the time and exchanged some vocals with the Dueshe, but she wasn't much of a vocalist. Like I said the music was A-typical Industrial talking about evil of society and how people are sheep....Blah, blah, blah. Nothing special. It made me move a few times but mostly I just stood there waiting for them to get off. 6/10

In between wait for KMFDM to come out they played Rammstein music which made me and others in the audience rock out more then Angelspit(They need to come to the states already).

KMFDM - Now for the Industrial pioneers KMFDM. All my annoyance of accidentally paying for this ticket went straight out the window went straight out of the window as soon as the band started. As soon as they got into their first song I was trying to figure out why I hadn't listened to them since 98. To any one whose never heard them the music has a super heavy sound yet it also has very danceable beats and vocals. The band sounded tight as they blasted throw heavy songs and dancy songs. And of course again female singer Lucia Cifarelli is ultra hot. Another Industrial HOTTIE:Definitely a great performance, very fun and really entertaining. I'm happy that I made that mistake purchasing the ticket. Afterwards I almost went to a goth club after for the band but I just ended up going to a friends house(I should of went to the club). 9/10

I love the Gramercy Theatre. It's a smaller venue then Nokia Theatre but has the same kinda layout and it has darker, goth club feel.

First off I just want to say that I had no intention of going to this show. I had seen the band 4 times before and each time had been disappointed at the fact that they never play any songs before their 4th album "Vulgar" which is either because they don't believe the American audience know or like the music or the just don't like playing the songs or they just prefer to play the newest music they make in concert. Making mental note of this I decided that I wouldn't go back to any Dir en grey shows until I hear that they plan on playing some older songs. So when a special 3 day NY shows at Gramercy was announced it peaked my interest, but the idea of special sounded so vague that I just ignored it until I heard what that special something was all about. So for 1 month before I was asked by a friend if I was going, which I told him know. He told me that he was going and getting tickets as fast as he could, so that got me a little more interested in going. Then 1 of my other friends call me a couple weeks before the show asking me if I was going, which again I said no, and then he told me how he was gonna get tickets so if I decided I was gonna go that he would get it for me, this only made me want to go more but still I declined. Then a day or so later I saw a survey from Dir en grey page listing every album they've made and an option to pick any song you would like to hear in concert. Right then I knew this was gonna be the kinda show I was asking for so I asked my last friend who talked to me about the show to pick up a ticket for me which he did. Afterwards I talked to the first friend that I got a ticket, which then he told me how he never got a ticket and how he wasn't gonna go to the show because he didn't have any money. This annoyed me cause in between the time we first talked about the show he kept telling me I should go but now I have a ticket and it seems he wasn't even going. A couple days before the show I decided that he was going to the show. But since I was busy every day I never had time to pick up a ticket for him. But since I still had hope that we could get him a ticket I called him that day and told him to be ready by 6 cause he was going to the show. So me and my 2 friends drove down to the venue all while not ever telling my friend I didn't actually have a ticket for him, so as soon as we reached the venue my other friend went to the front security and asked if could still buy a ticket which they said that the box office was closed and they would reopen after everyone enters the show. At that point I told my friend what was going on which he was a little unhappy to hear but I assured him that I would get a ticket for him or give him my own and leave. So right we reached the front of the venue on line a guy right in front of us just turned around and said do any of guys want a ticket and immediately I jumped at the offer which I happily took for free and offered the guy a drink when we got in the place which he never took(Miracles do happen). So now since I saved $27.50 on a ticket I decided by celebrating by getting a beer and enjoying the show since it felt like it was going to be a good night.

Goes Cube - I guess this band is a Metalcore group or whatever core shit they want to associate themselves with but they started off alright and just kinda faded by the next song and we just decided to go with my friend for a smoke break, which I then convinced the security guards to let me go to the pizza shop a get a slice then I came back and went back in the show to hear the bands last song which sucked ass. 3/10

Dir en grey - Like I said before I had seen this band 4 other times before and every time they failed to do any song before the album "Vulgar" and this time for the most part was pretty much the same song and dance but only better. More energetic and overall sounded and played better then any time I seen them before. And at their encore they tossed me a bone as they performed two songs, "Akuro no Oka" and "Schwein no Isu" from their first album "Gauze" which everyone sang along to and rocked out most to also which should prove to the band just how much everyone loves and would like to hear more older material live. I gotta say the crowd was the most entertaining crowd I've ever seen at one of their shows. Their was one guy who looked like he stole his sisters cameo jacket and was wearing a skirt and had a shitty Mohawk that he later just deflated which made him look more lame. Their was these Asian chicks in font of us who did some interesting looking fist pumping which kinda looked like a cross between those spirted hand movements that singers like Mariah Carey do and mentally retarded kids hand movements while having violent spasms. And these Asian girls also did this bad ass synchronized head banging that involved one both girls grabbing a hand from across each other and spinning their heads side to side in front of each other. Later on in the night one of the chicks ended up fainting for a second. In front of those girls was 2 guys in their very own mosh pit, which one of them was way overexcited to be in and of course was some fat "CORE" kid doing spin kicks and obnoxious "Picking up change" pit dancing and fist throwing and watching him keep hitting all the Asians then apologise and do it all over again, which just made us laugh our asses off at how ridiculous he was. Another funny crowd member was this girl, who when Dir en grey started playing "Akuro no Oka" she started hysterically crying, which of course just made us laugh even harder (it was almost like we were at an NSYNC concert). And then out of nowhere I see a man coming through the door of the venue and I instantly start realise that it's fucking "James Hetfield" from "Metallica" and I tell my friends that but neither one believe me and start telling me that I don't know what I'm talking about and how wrong I am and after a bit I believe them, but that is until he crosses right next to me that I just reassure myself that it's him (Fuck them if they don't believe me, I said to myself). The next day I get a call from both friends telling me that I was right that it was in fact James Hetfield at the show since Dir en grey posted that he was there (Hahaha, told you). The show was great, the only thing I got bad to say about it was that their were way too many screamy songs and that they still need to put more old material in their setlist. 9.25/10

Rob Zombie - December 1, 2009 - Hammerstein Ballroom, NY

I have always been a fan of Rob Zombie. My favorite album from him has always been "Hellbilly Deluxe" and the tour that he did to support that album looks like it was amazing and I have always kicked my self in the ass for not going to it. So after hearing about a tour to the second album and hearing him promise that the show would be very similar to the original I got me and my best friend tickets right away. The very day of the show I just got off the plane from Florida and didn't have any sleep that night at all, so you can just imagine how I felt. But still I got my shit together and went to the show.

We were late for the first band Captain Clegg & the Night Creatures because how shitty NY parking is so of course I cant review them. When we got in the place I was happy to notice the big mix of people from different music and life styles from Goths to Punks to old school Metal heads to Bikers to Nu Metal kids to just straight out rock fans, it was a diverse looking crowd and I loved it.

Nekromantix - I heard of this band way before the show and might have even heard a song or two but never really got into them, but now after seeing them all I gotta say is I really fucking like them. Nekromantix played their asses off. Their Psychobilly sound was super infectious as they started out with hardly anyone caring about them to almost everyone cheering for them at the end. And it was refreshing to see people actually dancing at a concert as couples were getting down as they played. And I gotta say the drummer Lux was amazing. First off not only is she hot but she can play her ass off(Not the same show):

Lux is like the perfect women, she is mad sexy and talented:Like I said I really liked them and I would be happy to see them again at a smaller venue and of course "LUX" (DROOLS). 8.5/10

Not the same show:

After the Nekromantix were done a guy went onstage doing some semi amusing comedic banter then introduced Rob Zombie. After the introduction we all assumed he was gonna come out but instead we waited another 30 minutes just hearing music from various film soundtracks.

Rob Zombie - After a bit the legend finally came out. And he started out well with some very energetic movements and dancing from the man but after every song he stopped for a bit, then after a minute would do another song or he would talk for a while about nothing which just ended up slowing the pace of the show. And lame song choices also did nothing to help the show out. Plus he only played 2 songs from White Zombie, one of which he made us chant like crazy to get. These things really made the performance kinda lame. Another thing that bothered me he didn't go all the way Zombie like he did in Hellbilly Deluxe album with his look This is how he should look dammit:The good things about the show was how energetic Rob was and how good he sounded, the monitor over the stage playing various bad ass clips, John 5 awesome guitar solo and the great drum solo from drummer Tommy Clufetos:

I also some boobs which always makes me happy and Zombie's beautiful wife Sherry Moon also hanging out just a few feet away from us behind the tech booth. But you can feel that the crowd wasn't so into the show as we all barely cheered and moved and even Zombie going through the crowd didn't get much people going crazy, which if I felt like I did when I saw him in Ozzfest he would have to get security to kick my ass for me to let go off him, but at this show I just watched him from afar without any real care. Don't get me wrong the show was good, just way too many slow downs for me to really be into it. 8.5/10

I don't know why but when my friend told me about seeing ICP again I jumped at the chance. And paying $15 for the ticket didn't hurt either. The only reason I say I don't know why I did it is because I've never really liked ICP all that much and their new album completely sucks (In my homble opinion anyway). But, I guess I just wanted to go back to the show and have fun again like I did all those years ago when I was a little more into them.

We arrived a little late and I remember hearing they had opening groups before the Dayton Family but I never got cofirmation about that so I don't know if we missed any groups. When we were going into the venue some chick in goth attire threw up right infont of us which saftely started the festivates for the night.

The Dayton Family - As soon as we got in The Dayton Family were already on. I gotta to tell you I never heard of this group before but I enjoyed hearing them a lot. Kinda reminded me of early 90's lay back Gansta Rap. 7.75/10

Not the same show:

(hed) PE - I have 1 album from (hed) PE and heard 2 others and I wasn't overlly impressed with anything they made so its safe to say I expected nothing to special from this group. First they came out with make up on which I guess was to suck up to the "Juggalo" fans and started off pretty bad with some lame song that the singer screamed all the way through with little to no energy from his end, then after a song or two I started to like what I was hearing and slowly they started to win me over. Even the inbetween song banter amused me even though he sucked up to the crowd way too much and wasted time like if he had plenty to spare but he was kinda funny. They played a very good set and they finaly got my respect, so now I gotta download some music from them. 8/10

Like every ICP show before this the same chants happend but a new thing happend where first no girls were taking off their shirts (Which sucked)and when a song came on guys infront of us made their own little circle where everyone could freely come in and dance (That right Dance) which was fun to watch.

Insane Clown Posse - ICP started off with a fun little intro that was like a carnival Ringmaster introducing them a showing the freaks on the side of the stage, then ICP cameout in typical fashion and the fun began. The show was the typical ICP show as they threw Faygo at the crowd, had song themed performances, guest stars from their label and Zombie clowns and other costumed creaures onstage. And after a bit the 2 girls even showed their boobs, one of which had her top off while body surfing right over me and all through the crowd. The show was fun but the setlist was horrible (In my opinion anyway). Most of the songs they played were of songs I never liked and new songs I don't give a shit about.So it ruined things for me a bit, plus I also want to say that the people were extremly rude as most of them especially girls pushed you out the way or just rammed through you to get closer to the stage. And as the show was going on I just kept feeling like I'm just way too old for this. like I said it was fun but I don't see my self ever going back to their show unless I go to "The Gathering Of The Juggalos". 8.5/10

Houses of the Holy has sold over 11 million copies in the United States. In 2003, the album was ranked number 149 on Rolling Stone magazine's list of the 500 greatest albums of all time and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame put this album on it's "The Definitive 200: Top 200 Albums of All-Time" and listed this album #51 on the list. In my personal opinion this is Led Zeppelin best record and one of the "Greatest Records Of All Time". This album was the first Zepp album to really expand their sound into new territories. Almost every song on this album has a different feel from one another which only adds to the greatness of this record as it seems to almost feel like a greatest hits compilation then an actual album. The moves form rocking song to slow song to more blues inspired number then it also bravely plays around with new genres as it jumps to Funk inspired song in "The Crunge" and Reggae inspired song in "D'yer Mak'er". A true classic album and one of my personal favorite 50 albums.

I've been away from home 12 days already and I can't wait to get home. I got only 5 days left but they can't come quicker. It's not to say that it's a bad vacation cause that's actually far from the truth, it's just getting boring now and I feel like there's so much for me to do when I get back to N.Y. that I feel like I'm wasting my time. The majority of the fun was had already on my trip as I traveled from Washington state to Florida in my cousins car which was an interesting experience that I will never forget. In some ways our 8 day drive was too short and on the other hand way too long. I say too short because 8 days going through those many states don't give you enough time to really experience things but after the things we seen and done it felt too long at the same time because of how lame most states are to begin with and how expensive things get. At the end of the day you just kinda realise there's no place like N.Y. and it may not be for everyone but it's definitely for me. Everyone who knows me knows that I have no real love for Florida, even though this state has always treated me great and still does, I just always feel like getting the fuck out of here especially cause I'm in my cousins studio apartment with my aunt and my 2 cousins watching bad Spanish soaps, sleeping on the floor while hating my shitty haircut that my aunt just gave me and all getting fat eating nothing but garbage all day. Hell I'm so bored that I'm actually been talking to people on Facebook the last couple of days which I consider a sin. he stupid apps and lame updates of people complaining about how shitty there lives are have actually been keeping me semi entertained cause I'm just that fucking bored. I do gotta say that last night I went to an awesome Lounge called "Bardot" which was actually bad ass for a hipster spot. The place looked amazing and seemed like it belonged more in Hollywood then Florida as it oozed old Hollywood style. I loved the music as it was eclectic mix of 80's synth pop, alt rock, jazz, blues, soul, Spanish music.... etc, etc. The only thing bad I could say about the place is that the drinks sucked hard and since the chick bartenders weren't even hot they had no excuse for making shitty drinks (come'on a Vodka tonic is impossible to fuck up). But if you go to Florida and want to go to a cool spot that allows smoking (Pot smoking too) and let's you play instruments and a game of pool all while being surrounded in Hollywood decadence (as the place feels like your in some big shot Hollywood execs pimp ass pad) then I strongly recommend you go here. Besides that cheap plug for "Bardot" I got nothing to say about Florida. Tomorrow is Thanksgiving and it's the typical lameness for my family as it looks like were gonna spend it eating McDonald's or something like that which I don't really mind because Thanksgiving is a lame holiday anyway but it just kinda defeats the purpose of actually being with my family this year. I'll try to make the best of this place for the next few days but I can't wait to go back to N.Y..

This week SUCKS! Now let me list the ways:

1) The first thing to happen this week was my Ex's "Boyfriend" (If you can call him that) calling me on Halloween trying to start shit with me cause infact his girl likes me and not him. It's tragic man, but get the fuck over it(Besides you having no dick, which is a little embarrissing for a black man, Hitting her isn't gonna make her like you better then me). And no matter what I said in the last post I think about you every day and if you want me to I'll kill the fucker I will cause he's a BITCH!!!!!!

2) Since that annoying phone call from someone's pretend boyfriend (seriously man get a girl who actually likes you and isnt all over me) I was kinda pissed off so I started making out with the first chick who hit on me. Mind you the chick was not bad looking at the least but after a heavy make out session and her asking me over and over again "What do I want to do to her" I finally, after telling her repeatedlly "You know what I want to do" I finally had to spell it out for her DUMB ASS and tell her that I wanted to fuck her, which of course she gave me the weirdest reaction I've ever seen. It was almost like I took a shit right infront of her as she looked mortified and said thats fucked up and quickly walked away from me. My friends and me had a quick laugh about it until I realised how sad this moment actaully really was. HORRIBLE!!!

3) My fathers friend, whose been living in my house for 4 years now and been like a father figure and friend to me, has just been kicked out of my house today. This just made my week, forget that, month much worse.

4) My mom is in town now, which isn't always horrible until my mom starts to get on my dreams and shits on me for how I'm not doing anything to make myself the next Rod "FUCKING" Stewart.

5) I HATE MY JOB! But my job loves me. After a couple months from getting shitted on by my maneger all of a sudden he's been changing his tune and actaully kissing my ass lately. We actaully had a convo about our future goals and intrist today. He was actaully being cool with me and all I kept thinking about is after I take my yearlly leave next week, which I wouldn't actaully be able to do if I wasn't extremely liked and still have a job when I come back, I'm gonna wipe my ass with his genrosity cause I don't give a shit about how nice he's trying to be to me now, He was a dick when I started and now that he knows how awesome I really am he's a even bigger dick. So I hope he feels it like a foot right in his balls when I quit when I get back. Whose your boy now.

6) Saw druken bitch I made out with on Halloween tonight and asked her what the whole mortified look thing was all about and she made the whole night seem like one big druken mistake. THANK YOU!

Aaaahhhh!!!! These are the days of my life. I can't wait to leave this shit hole next week and just drive through the desert with my cousin and share new and old memories. But I do have 1 thing good to say. I did get one of my best friends a job who really needed it and that did make me feel awesome. So maybe next week will be awesome too.

Every person has a moment when you have to decide what exactly the right thing to do. Sometimes the right thing might be to help yourself out or to help someone else if you can. Now the important thing to remember is the "if you can" part of what I just said. Now the problem with doing the right thing is that it's not always so easy to tell what the right thing is or even if there is any right thing you can do. I feel that way right now. Today I have once again been destroyed (mentally) by a mere voice. This voice a few years ago spoke to me and showed me "HATE". This voice that I speak of did not show me it's "HATE", but in fact showed me my own "HATRED" I possessed for this person. The funny thing about this "PERSON" is that we never actually met and honestly I wouldn't even know who this "PERSON" was if I saw him. And hell, before tonight I've only talked to this "PERSON" 1 other time in my life, yet I know I "HATE" this guy and wish upon him the worst atrocity mankind has ever seen! As a man with my own set spiritual beliefs and morals I try never to give in to my aggression cause it's never done anything good for me before and I know it won't do anything good now if I were to give in. But right there lies my dilemma. I've known someone for years that I've had on and off relationship with and a ongoing friendship with. This "person" I speak of has been abused, raped and tortured by this "PIECE OF HUMAN SHIT" for years already mentally and psychically. No matter what I've said or how much I tried to help her it never works out. She never takes my advise, and all the times I let her stay over my house to get away from "SHIT HEAD" were all in vain cause she always ends up back with him. I know that living in fear may be crippling to a degree, especially for a female, but that's why I offered to confront this "PIECE OF SHIT" years ago just for her. I may not love her but I care about her so much, I would almost do anything for her yet she refuses every time I willingly layed out my life to protect her. The one time before when I talked to him years ago I went against what I felt I should say just out of respect for her wishes and then I had to hear this "SHIT HEAD" give me a underhanded remark just before turning off his phone. Little does this "DICK" know that my pride is one of the only reasons I'm still alive, and that the cheap remark sparked a feeling I've never felt for anyone before that day. I found a demon living deep within me that day that wanted nothing more then to rid the world of this "GARBAGE". And today I might have just gotten a taste of it again but damn am I seeing red again. Why didn't I just take you out right then? You deserved it then, just like you deserve it now, yet is it my place to do it no matter how much I might want to? Therein lies the dilemma of a life time. Do something for someone that you care about to help them even though you might end up regretting in some way forever or who knows maybe not exist anymore. Or just forget about this girl that you've done nothing but try to protect for years and has done almost nothing to help herself the whole time and watch over and over again as this person falls into the same "BULLSHIT"! I don't know about anyone else but if it were me I would rather die then anyone fucking with me constantly. Its not right and it shouldn't be able to go on especially with the world as big as it is. There should always be somewhere else to go and someone else to meet. Now what's the right thing to do? I really don't know, but all I know is that whether it's the right thing or not I'm done. I can't take it anymore. I care about her too much to watch someone destroy her like that, and if she won't help herself I guess I might as well just not give a shit either. So if either one of you ever read this just know that I'm no longer in your lives so don't ever look for me cause you might not like what you find.

Fiona Apple - Fiona Apple is a BAD ASS! she is also incredibly talented and very sexy:
She kinda looks like that coke whore that you can't help to think is extremely hot so you try and get with her even though you know that she's all bad news. One of my biggest regrets was when I was 13 I never tried to ask out this chick that looked like her and that I felt liked me (I guess I'm just born to be a fuck up when it comes to women). Ah well maybe seeing Fiona Apple live might make up for my lameness.

The Fugees - With two albums this Rap group had made one of the greatest hip hop records of all time and opened the doors in America for females in hip hop music and successfully fused R&B and Reggae with Rap vocally. I would love to see them but after there unsuccessfully reunion a few years ago I guess the dream is dead.

Gackt - Gackt is one of Japan's best singers and probably best performer too. After seeing these clips I think you would not disagree.

Garbage - They may have ripped off "Curve's" sound but they rocked in their own right, and sometimes a little more. Ever since I saw their performance in the MTV Movie Awards when I was younger I always wanted to check them out live. Plus she might not be that hot But I kinda wanna have sex with Shirley Manson:

Gorgoroth - After hearing about what happened in their Poland gig where their show was so disturbing that the police are investigating the band for causing religious offense, which can be punished by two years in prison I have wanted to see them. Guano Apes - Nu Metal band from Germany with a female singer that actually rocks. They just got back together after a 4 years apart now all they need to do is tour the good old U.S.A.. And lead singer Sandra Nasić might not be the hottest chick in the world but theres something very attractive about her:

Heart - Heart rocked in the 70's and they still fucking do, enough said.

Henry Rollins - Ever since 1994 when I was watching MTV's concert footage of Woodstock that year I thought Henry Rollins ruled. Intense is the only thing I could think of then to say and it still true today.

Iggy Pop - Iggy is a mad man. He's kinda like that spastic kid on Mad TV only way more Bad Ass of course. The guys like a 100 years old and he still rocks hard and he's got a better body then I'll ever have.

Interpol - Ever since I saw the video "Obstacle 1" on tv I loved this band. Don't really look or sound like the greatest live band but I still would like to see them.

Joan Jett - Joan Jett is one of the toughest chicks I've ever. And for a chick that's 51 years old she is still fucking hot.

I would go to her show just out of respect for alone.

Kanye West - It might have took me awhile but I've warmed up to Kanye West musically. I think he is not only very talented musically but he's also a great performer. I wish I would have seen him when my friend asked me to go with him a few years ago.

Kidneythieves - Kidneythieves are a underrated female fronted Industrial band that just got back together last year and I'm anxiously awaiting a live show from them.

King Diamond - King Diamond is easily one of the goofiest guys in all of Metal. It would be fun to watch just laugh at how over the top he is.

The Kovenant - Black Metal, Cosmic Metal, Space Metal or Cyber Thrash, who cares what they label their music these days all I know is I want to see them in concert. I would have preferred to see them when one of the worlds greatest drummers "Hellhammer" was with them, but I would still go without him in the group.

Led Zeppelin - Arguably the greatest rock group ever Led Zeppelin has been the biggest dream tour request for a lot of people, including me. They got back together for one show 2 years ago and almost announced a tour but Robert Plant fucked that up. Who knows maybe one day.

Lovage - Another great group with the worlds greatest singer Mike Patton, Lovage needs to do another album and a tour. That album was so smooth and the performance looks smooth as hell too.

Lunachicks - Lunachicks is one of the only punk groups I've ever really liked and wanted to see in my life. Hopefully they get their asses back together for a tour or something. And I don't know what anyone else thinks but if you kinda cleaned these chicks up a bit they are kinda hot:

In 1995 at the age of 10 years old I watched a little movie called "Hackers". Not a great movie per se, but still I loved it. Every time it came on television I was glued to the screen. I couldn't help myself, the film was just so fun and silly plus it had my biggest crush ever Angelina Jolie. At first site of her in this movie I had fallen in love. She was amazingly beautiful, hell see for yourself: And behind that beauty lied a bad ass, which of course made her perfect in my eyes. Then I saw her in another movie called "Foxfire" which just reinforced my attraction to her when I saw her amazing body in all its glory. In that movie I saw her as the female embodiment of what I always wanted from a girl. She was a tough chick that took no shit, was slightly crazy, followed her own rules, sexy as hell, free spirited and behind all that attitude lied a kind, caring individual with moral conflicts about choosing what the right thing is to do. I connected a lot with her character in the film even to this day because I kinda feel like that was the kinda person I am in a way and always made myself out to be. True it might only be a character that she played in a movie but for some reason I really felt like it was really her true character as a person and I feel that she has proved that to me throughout her career from her roles in movies, to the men she's been with, weird family relationship and even her adopting children and doing missionary work. Rammstein are German Metal band that formed in 1994 and is Germany's most successful group ever. Although Rammstein is often generalized as Neue Deutsche Härte (German industrial metal) or Dance Metal, its music spans a variety of related styles, including Techno Pop, industrial, hard rock, heavy metal, grunge and electronic music with influences of punk rock, pop music and Gothic rock, due to their use of keyboards to emulate strings, choirs or pianos. The music is generally sung in German yet occasionally they sing in English and in one instance in Spanish. They have achieved particular fame (not to mention notoriety) for their hugely over-the-top stage show, using many pyrotechnics, which includes such items as "Lycopodium Masks", "Glitterburst Truss", "Pyrostrobes", "Comets", "Flash Trays", "Mortar Hits" and not to mention plane old "FIRE". Rammstein has sold nearly three million records in the U.S. and over 14 million albums worldwide. And the band has been nominated two times in Grammy Awards as Best Metal Performance and won 5 ECHO awards.

This is very hard because both "Sehnsucht" and "Mutter" are amazing albums. You know what this means. Oh yeah pick up Rammstein new album "Liebe Ist Für Alle Da" it kicks ass.

From the opening song "Sehnsucht" the music hooks you in and doesn't let go. This album is unique in a way that it's incredibly catchy for an album that is not only Metal but also spoken completely in German. Songs like "Sehnsucht", "Du hast" and "Eifersucht" will have you searching for the dance floor (like I personally done before). While songs like "Tier", "Bück dich" and "Küss mich" will have you head banging all over the place. The other, darker tracks like "Bestrafe mich" and "Alter Mann" will get your blood pumping and yet they still get you with a well done slow song in "Klavier" and then end the album with an awesome cover of Depeche Mode's "Stripped". Great Album!!!

Highlights

Right from the very start of the song "Sehnsucht" I'm already engulfed in the album. It's starts off kinda cheesy sounding but I still can't helping loving it, and once it's starts going into the Techno breakdown of the song I'm hitting the dance floor. Excellent opener for this album since it's unpredictable, fun and beautifully sets the tone for the rest of the album. "Bestrafe mich" is the first really dark song on this album and it hits hard. Till's vocals on this song are some of his best ever. This song gets me pumped every time I hear it. If I ever was going into war this would probably be the song I would listen to before I kicked ass. "Alter Mann" is musically a monster of the song and might just be the best song of this album. It's a powerful sounding song with many layers throughout and another strong vocal performance by Till. "Eifersucht" is another dance floor classic for me cause this would have me tearing up the dance floor at goth clubs like nobodies business. It just gets you moving cause it's so fucking intense. "Kuss Mich" is another fun song that will have your head pounding till the bitter end.

Throw Away Tracks

I don't dislike it but I do think "Bück dich" is just kinda too repetitive for me.And I gotta say that while "Klavier" is an awesome slow song in it own right, it just kinda slows things down too much for my taste usually so I just end up skipping it.

This is honestly my favorite Rammstein album and one of my favorite albums of all time. It's funny how this album is slower and more melodic yet feels heavier all at the same time. This album leaves behind much of it's industrial roots and kinda becomes unclassifiable even though it is clearly Metal. Awesome songs from front to back and clearly has a dark mood throughout the album.

Highlights

Album opener "Mein Herz brennt" is a beautiful, dark, inspiring and pummeling song. Brooding bass lines and haunting string and bombastic string arrangements come bursting out of this song with Till's voice leading the charge. Amazing song! "Sonne" is another great song as it starts off with a countdown then thrust right in with one of the most aggressive riffs ever then comes at you with a great chorus that is layered with more amazing violins and beautifully haunting female vocals. "Ich will" is as much a head pounder as it is a fist pumper. This song was made for a live audience as it comes packed with crowd chants already. "Spieluhr" is a song that strangely grabs me. I don't know what it is, it just kinda makes me feel almost sentimental hearing it. It starts off with Till talking and then slowly a music box creeps in then goes right into their mid paced Metal assault. The song is layered brilliantly with female vocals thrown around throughout the chorus and the music box intro thrown throughout sections of the song making this my favorite song on the album. while not a bad song "Links 2 3 4" just kinda feels like it's on the wrong album or at least not the right track number because it not only comes between the two most musical and well orchestrated songs on the album but it also is the only song on this album that really has a industrial feel. Plus it feels overly repetitive, but in a fun way. And while I actually really like the song "Mutter" I do often skip it when in the car cause it's just not a cruiser.

Bands I Would Like To See Live: A - E

I've seen a lot of groups live in my time but still there are many bands that have escaped me. This is a list dedicated to the groups I would like to see in concert one of these days, so if your felling charitable you can, and should buy me a ticket to one of these shows. Or would always be willing to exchange sexual favors for tickets.

Adele - Adele is one of the most amazing singers today. Incredible voice and a pretty damn good album and her Raconteurs cover of "Many Shades Of Black" owns.

Alice In Chains - Ever since I got into, and I mean really into Alice In Chains I always kicked myself that I got into them way too late and that I would never get my chance to see them, but now I guess I have my chance again. Mind you, minus Layne Staley drugged out rock star vibes, but I'll take what I can get.

Amorphis - One of the more interesting Metal groups ever as they started out a Death Metal group then sorta added psychedelic sound on top of it then all of sudden switched gears and took the psychedelic sound and went more in a rock direction then after switching vocalist found a happy medium between the Death Metal and Rock directions. Alright, I want to fucking see them already.

Ancient - They are probably one of the silliest groups ever and that's exactly why I want to see them. Plus no matter how silly they might be they are still kinda good....... I guess your gonna have to take my word on that.

Billy Idol - Billy Idol is like a 100 years old yet he looks like he hasn't aged since past 30. Plus the man still rocks hard. Need to see the legend before it's too late.

Block Party - Block Party seem like a great live band and from what I heard everyone seems to fully back that statement up. Shit, look at that drummer play.

Crisis - First I got to admit I got a crush on Karen Crisis. She's got a sexy, dirty, punk look going on and that fucking hair, my god I just want to get lost in it. Plus the pure intensity and her amazing vocal acrobatics. She's fucking sexy:

The Cult - The Cult ROCKS!!! Isn't that enough reason for wanting to see them.

Curve - Bad Ass Industrial band that Garbage ripped off with a cute singer that kinda looks like the chick from The Cranberries. They need to get back together and perform in America.

Daft Punk - After watching The Prodigy I said to myself the only other Techno group that might be as fun to see live is Daft Punk and I hope I'm right about that.

David Bowie - Bowie is one of the most amazing vocalist ever, plus a hell of a performer and innovator. I would love to see him live.

Dethklok - Dethklok seems like a fun group to see live cause it's kinda like a live animated music video.

Devil Doll - No, not the rockabilly band by the same name but the Experimental Goth Rock group. Just to see them perform their one hour legnth songs live with their own "Devil Chorus", massive amounts of instruments from Violins to harps to accordion and so on, to lead singer Mr. Doctor weird vocals would be a grand specticle to behold. The band has been around since 1987 yet they only performed a handful of times. So no live video here cause they don't have any, and they sure as shit don't have any regular music videos so the curiosity is definitely killing this cat.

Drain STH - Hot chick Metal band that died way before their time. They really need to make a comeback cause they rocked..... and did I mention their hot:

Emperor - Norwegian Black Metal legends Emperor look like they would be a Bad Ass band to see live. Awesome band!

Greatest Black Metal Videos Of All Time

For those of you who viewed my "Worst Black Metal Videos Of All Time" BLooooG you might have been wondering if those are the worst what is the best? Well if you listen I'ma tell you.

In 3rd place we have Behemoth again with their new video "Ov fire and the Void". This video is super bad ass. It first starts off with some hot chick jumping off a building and it just gets more bad ass from there. Nudity, check. Tough guy faces, check. Fog, check. Demonic eyes, check. Blood, check. Tarot Cards, check. Epic Land scape shots, check. Torture, check. Apocalyptic imagery, check. Band eating a angel, that's a new one check. Satanic imagery, check. Giving birth to the Anti Christ, Super bad ass Check.

Behemoth - Ov fire and the Void

2nd place goes to the mighty Dimmu Borgir with "Progenies Of The Great Apocalypse". This is more of just a straight out band video with little to no concept yet it has so much going on for it at the same time because it still manages to put plenty of Black Metal Cliches throughout the video. Easily one of the best band videos ever made.

Behemoth "At the left hand ov God" is easily the best Black Metal video of all time. It hits every Black Metal cliche, except the whole running through the forest thing, and makes it all bad ass. So get your check list out because your about to see the BAD ASS MOTHER OF ALL BLACK METAL VIDEOS!

**WARNING** This post is kinda dedicated to one of my best friends but I guess this applies to anyone who shares in his beliefs too.

So I was talking to my friend the other day and I told him how awesome the new Alice In Chains record is and he just scuffled at what I said and was all like "Layne Staley is dead, I don't listen to poseurs. Maybe if they changed their name then I would listen to them". First off, I feel that the name the WHOLE, still VERY ALIVE BAND should be their own decision what name they go by. And 2nd of all, just like me he loves Alice In Chains, so he should at least give the music a chance before he decides that they suck. Lastly, if a band member dies or gets replaced why should they be labeled as poseurs and shunned just for continuing to play music. It's a ridiculous idea.

Bands change members all the time, and the very same group that are considered the definitive line up are most likely not gonna be together forever. And even if the vocalist does put a big stamp on the over all sound of a group, they still, more often then not, don't make the music. So the whole band, at the end of the day is still the most important part of the group. And if you can't see that then let me list some examples of bands that moved on without the original singers that you like. You always told me you liked Dio with Black Sabbath and they not only changed a member but also changed their sound, so you must be a poseur. You did say that you enjoyed the music of The Misfits with Michale Graves singing didn't you poseur. Blag Flag is a group that went through 4 singers and countless musicians, you must be a poseur. Hey isn't Faith No More with Mike Patton like one of your favorite groups and yet they not only changed their sound and their singer but also countless other musicians and singers before reaching the spotlight, so you must be a super poseur.

Now I'm gonna just stop right there, not because I can't find more groups you like to reference, oh no my friend it's because it doesn't matter. Just like those guys had a change in the sound of the group, the band themselves decided on their own to keep their names because it's up to them at the end of the day to decide what their name should be and as people into the groups music we should decide to continue to support the group on the quality of the music rather then the name, musicians, image and/or sound that the group decides on. Because if you follow a band in those ways you would actually be poseur, cause your obviously a person that follows music for superficial reasons then actual music. And if you look at the other end of the spectrum it's kinda silly for a band to make a whole new name every time they change a member just to make the exact same music they already were making. Then all of a sudden you got bands taking valuable names in an already crowded music industry and then you have to resort to trying to keep tabs on every single little side band that your favorite group keeps getting into simply because they keep breaking up and getting back together just cause they don't want to be labeled poseurs. Mind you, if you don't like the new music the groups coming out with, by all means don't like it but at least go that far with it before you shit all over it.

Yeah, I don't know about you but I think I won this argument. Now listen to the new Alice In Chains record already you POSEUR!!!!

**UPDATE** My friend read what I wrote and he gave his side of things and he made some good points that made sense and I agreed with, but I still think the music is always and will always be the most important part of the band. So I guess this is just a unwinnable argument from either side of the fence. So well just have to agree to disagree.

I know I may be a little late for this one but I just wanted to say Christopher Columbus is the BIGGEST, DUESHIEST, PIECE OF SHIT THAT EVER LIVED!!!! The fact that we celebrate this "Duesh bag" by giving him his own day pisses me off to no end. The guy did nothing special to deserve one because all of his accomplishments were already founded long before he ever tried the only thing he ever did was just take credit for it. Like the world being round, sorry dick head, it was already known before your ass set sail and discovering America, BULLSHIT, it was discovered before your ass by the Vikings and let's not forget the people that were already on this "New World" the Native "FUCKING" Americans. And in the wake of his supposed discoveries he enslaved and murdered thousands of people and stole all their lands gold. And to top it all off he brought Small Pox and Syphilis to the supposed "New World". Columbus is the biggest Ginny, Wop, Dago the world has ever seen! Like a typical "DUESHY GUIDO" he revels in his own BULLSHIT. If he were alive today he would probably be the king of all duesh bag, Guido's. And he would probably look something like this:

Alice In Chains

Alice in Chains is an American rock band formed in Seattle, Washington, in 1987. While commonly associated with the Grunge Rock music of the early 90's, their sound was unique from the other groups in the genre as they had more of a Heavy Metal sound and put more of an emphasis on Blues and acoustic rock music all while retaining a Hard Rock and or Alternative rock sound. The band is also known for its distinct vocal style which often included the harmonized vocals of Layne Staley and Jerry Cantrell, and now since Layne death in 2002 sharing vocal duties is William DuVall. Their lyrics often considered "dark", with themes such as drug abuse, depression, and suicide. Alice in Chains has sold more than 14 million albums in the United States, released two number-one albums and 19 top 40 singles, Jar of Flies debuted at number one on the Billboard 200, becoming the first ever EP—and first Alice in Chains release—to top the charts and has received six Grammy nominations. The band was ranked number 34 on VH1's 100 Greatest Artists of Hard Rock. Alice in Chains was named 15th greatest live band by Hit Parader, with vocalist Layne Staley placing as 27th greatest vocalist of all time. The band's second album, Dirt, was named 5th best album in the last two decades by Close-Up magazine. In August 2009, Alice in Chains won the Kerrang! Icon Award.

Since the album "Dirt" was non stop in my cd player for a certain time in my life and since they have a new singer and album out I decided I'm going to feature both "Dirt" and "Black Gives Way to Blue".

This album has the most amazing power to make you feel dirty just from listening to it. From the creepy, amazing, dread inducing artwork to Layne Staley's dark and depressing lyrics to the dark brooding melodies that lay through the entire record, this album is a classic. It is one of the greatest records of all time. Even more impressive is that it is a bit of a concept record. The concept, of course is drugs as the record is kinda Layne's own chronicle of his drug addiction. Unlike a lot of drug themed record, this is a huge anti drug record as it lyrics reflect someone ashamed, depressed, isolated, contemplating suicide, not caring about living, knowing they can never change no matter how much they want to and a person realising that they are gonna eventually die from the drugs. Themes on the record integrated topics of depression, anti-social behaviour, drug use, war, death, entrapment, deep relationships and various other heavy topics. This is one of those records if your feeling a little dark and moody this can very well be the soundtrack to your life at that moment.

Highlights

"Them Bones" comes out swinging right from the beginning giving you one of the most bad ass songs in rock history with an awesome video to accompany it too. I love that song, every time I hear it I get juiced to hear this album. One of the best opening songs ever. "Rain When I Die" is another amazing that is really the beginning of the sad songs that start weighing on your soul in this album. "Down in a Hole" is one of the saddest and most depressing songs I've ever heard in my life. This song gives me chills every time I hear it. The lyrics in the chorus get me every time I hear it.

"Down in a hole, feelin so small
Down in a hole, losin my soul
Id like to fly,
But my wings have been so denied"

It don't get sadder then that. "Dirt" is another completely awesome song that lyrics represent the feeling of the album perfectly. "Would?" is the perfect closer as "Them Bones" was the perfect opener because right after you hear it you almost just want to go for a round two on this album as it leaves such a lasting impression in your head. Great songs, great album.

Throw Away Tracks

"Iron Gland(Dream Sequence)" is a waste of track as it ruins the flow of the album and is just a bunch of nonsense. At least it's over quick. "Hate to Feel" is not a bad song per se, just a little too slow for my liking so I just skip it unless I'm in the zone on this album. "Rooster" is actually a great song but after hearing it a gazillion times on the radio I'm just kinda tired of hearing it.

7 years after Layne's death and 14 years after their last recordings and I gotta say Alice In Chains have not missed a beat. Awesome record! William DuVall is a great replacement Layne Staley as his voice is quite similar, even though at times you do notice the slight differences of tone.

Highlights

From the very start of the record on the song "All Secrets Known" the lyrics "A new beginning, Time, time to start living, just like before we died, There's no going back to the place we started from." instantly brings you in. Such a true and relevant statement from a band who many people are shunning just because there still making music. FUCK THEM! They don't know shit. "A Looking in View" is an awesome moody rocker of song that definitely feels like an updated track that could have fit in the album "Dirt". "Private Hell" is one those songs that really hit you just like "Down In A Hole" did in 92. Great song. "Black Gives Way to Blue" is another classic Alice In Chains song that gives you chills as soon as you hear it. Again, Great song.
